My hair has been at 18 inches for a few years now. It’s not getting any longer just thinner now so I want to cut it short and start over🤦🏽♀️

Then I say, GO FOR IT! It will only be better for it! If you’ve been able to maintain 18 inches of hair for “a few years” I’m sure it will have no problem getting back to that and longer. Good luck!

Thanks! It's improving. I def still have some ways to go. But the improvement is slow and steady.
Hello ! How tall are you ?
When I see women “measure” their hair; they count as length, the teeniest piece of hanging hair? When I measure my hair I take the length of the hair that is the most uniform. Those barely reaching raggedy ends; I don’t even count because they most likely will need to be trimmed off. While you were measuring my calculation was your post-trim lengths! But anything longer that a foot of hair; if it’s healthy, long hair has been achieved so I don’t haggle over half inches!?🤷🏾♀️ It’s healthy tho so; that’s the goal, Right! Tfs
