    Keeping my hair stretched was a TOTAL game changer for me. Been natural for well over 12 years now and I swear I only learned how to manage breakage a few years ago. Hair started growing (really retaining length) like crazy

    Yes! If I want to wear my hair out, I try to have it stretched. I found this prevents knots and tangles so much! I am also learning about balancing protein as a lack of protein can cause hair fragility as well.

    @@elegantempress1395 I totally understand this! As I have gotten older, I have noticed my hair changing as well. I have been doing a ton of research on it and will be sharing some lifestyle updates that will benefit hair growth as you age. Keeping up with your blood levels is so important. My last protein treatment was last year and I used CurlSmith Bond Curl. I am definitely due for another one. Using it again next weekend!

    @@PatriceMarjorie thank you for sharing all of this with us! As someone who is very protein sensitive, I’ve been scared to use any heavy protein based products but I also feel like my hair needs it to help build strength. Olaplex works fine but I feel like it doesn’t really last. I may try curlsmith

    Hey loves! Thank you for tuning in to my updated wash day routine! I wanted to add that I apply moisturizer to my hair after the leave in conditioner step. I forgot to show this in the clip, but I did link the moisturizer/curl cream used in the description box for your convenience. During the week, I reapply moisturizer about every 3 days. Any longer than that and my hair is too dry and susceptible to unnecessary breakage. Love you 💕

    Now this is about my length. I recently bought the Unbrush and although it wasn't a complete solution, it helped greatly. I didn't even have to wash my hair in sections & it did not create knots with minimal shedding. It thoroughly detangle too. I hope they consider making a bigger brush with longer bristles & a wider paddle though.

    @@PatriceMarjorie Hey chica🫶🏽 Ur welcome. This is the first time I ever tried anything other than my HUGE double tooth comb by Ouidad. I didn’t trust the other brushes bc I was afraid they would snag/rip my hair out but u know how they say, TT made me do it? Well it's true lol If you consider, just make sure ur buying from a credible source bc there are a lot of knockoffs. It def cut out the time I was twisting & untwisting the sections between the washing & conditioning. Also I was coming out of braids & I should've used a clarifying shampoo to breakdown some of the buildup. So I believe it will work better next time. If you like it, maybe u can do a review. I might try the tangle teaser to compare since u like it🤔

    Be careful with that Miele strength shampoo. It has bioten and henna in it which over time can cause your hair to get too much protein, dry and break off. Henna is like a natural form of protein and bioten to the hair because it strengthens the hard. If you over use henna it can make your hair feel hard and dry. I have no idea why they mixed henna in that product with bioten but to me it's not a good combo because it can be too strong for the hair when mixed together.

    Hi! Thanks for that! I will be sure to keep note of how my hair responds to this shampoo on a consistent bases. I’m sure there are other variables to consider, such as the concentration of henna and biotin, and how often the brand recommend you use the shampoo. I wash just about every 10 days, not multiple times a week like some others. I’m wondering if that makes a difference.

    Scalp scrubbers tangle the hair. Protective hairstyles should be left in for at least a week once installed, not immediately taken down, otherwise it’s a waste.

  • @PatriceMarjorie

    @PatriceMarjorie

    9 ай бұрын

    Hi! I never said to wear protective styles less than a week or to immediately take them down. Sorry if that wasn’t clear. The point is not to neglect your real hair. And scalp scrubbers won’t tangle your hair any more than your fingers will. Unless you’re using them wrong, with too many circular motions. However, moderate tangles after shampooing is common, that’s why we detangle while applying the deep conditioner 💕

    That is understandable and I can see how a scalp brush can be a miss for a lot of people. I wonder if it has a lot to do with how it's used and how tangled your hair is before shampooing. I doubt I will used it every wash day, but it does feel good on your scalp. I think it's a nice tool to have on hand for weekly scalp messages, not on wash day. Maybe then it will be less tangling, since your hair is dry. I'll try it out on dry hair and let you guys know! Thanks so much for watching sis!@@nicylee 💞

    @@PatriceMarjoriedon't go on a "public" platform with a "comments" section, putting your "business" out there ... then go on to be defensive/in attack mode ... to the "viewers" who are giving you "feedback". You're completely missing the point of having a "channel" (and life/living in general) if you think EVERYONE should only ever praise ("positive energy" or whatever "hollyweird" lastest/current/trendy term in use) and "lie" to you. Your hair is not doing well and you keep "shredding" it to the roots with that "detangling" you're doing.
