It's a demon. A Japanese demon cat that has the ability to transform much like the demon fox and the Tenuki( raccoon dog). If you ever see one of those statues of a cat with it's paw rised, that's one of them. The story behind it is rather interesting and you can look it up on wikipedia.

What's a bakkeneko?

Same composer, same illustrator.

This is so weird. My oc is bakeneko or neko for short. The story is similar with lizzy (black butler) and neko. Lizzy dies in nekos arms. When I first imagined neko I was only finding a meaningful name and the more I read about the folklore the weirder it got. With neko in my mind they can be gender fluid or non binary but they keep their form female with out the boobs or organs though. The reason for female is because everyone around wishes it and so on. They have a black scar across their chest from birth. And I'm gonna stop for now
