Lekota expose Ramaphosa "Sold out during Apartheid" - EFF Applauds

Please watch: "Julius Malema June 16 Lecture | Special Edition"
• Julius Malema June 16 ... -~-
#ramaphosasoldout
Cope leader Mosiuoa Lekota stunned the national assembly when he held it to ransom, refusing to address the house until President Cyril Ramaphosa returned to the chamber on Wednesday.
Shortly before Lekota took to the podium during day two of the debate on the state of the nation address, Ramaphosa briefly stepped out of the house.
When he noticed that, Lekota in an unprecedented move refused to speak until the president returned.
"Madam speaker, shouldn't I wait for the president," he said, to which presiding officer Thandi Modise said: "No honourable Lekota, please proceed now you're wasting your time, please proceed."
"The president addressed me when he was here on the podium . I want the president because I want to answer some of the things he said to me, he called me by name," replied Lekota.
But a strict Modise chastised Lekota, pointing out that he had been aware since 1994 that presidents and other politicians were allowed to go in and out of the house during debates.
"This amnesia is amazing. The president, and other ministers, is just a human being. They do have a chance to go out and come back, since 1994. Honourable Lekota you and I are witness," said Modise.
"In fact there are instances where the president would not even be here. He's got the staff, he's got ministers, people who take notes and will keep him abreast when he comes in so please continue the debate sir."
But a stubborn Lekota dug in his heels and refused to start his speech.
"He must not hold the house to ransom like this," shouted EFF MP Mbuyiseni Ndlozi.
A few minutes later, Ramaphosa returned to his front seat on the ANC side of the horse-shoe chamber.
In his brief speech, Lekota accused Ramaphosa of selling him and other student leaders out to the apartheid special branch when they were activists in the 1970s.
"When it was difficult, you wrote to the special branch that we put communist ideas in your head, in doing so you condemned us to the special branch. I say this because the special branch rewarded you and they sent you home and we headed to Robben Island.
"This invitation that you were issuing on Friday, you should have issued it then. We should have travelled together to the island to serve years for the struggle of our people. I will not join you because you made your choice then," said Lekota.
At that point EFF leader Julius Malema stood up on a point of order, saying: "We want to offer honourable [Lekota] eight minutes of the EFF [time] which is remaining … this issue of selling out is very important."
Modise, however, said the rules of the sitting did not allow for such an offering.
Lekota received a standing ovation from the EFF, FF Plus and DA MPs after accusing Ramaphosa of being a sell-out.

You guys are so desperate like your poor leaders. You want President Ramaphosa to go to jail but you don't have a case against him. If all this useless leaders of yours knew the truth, could have jailed him years ago. You gave him all positions of power. Where you stupid by then and now you claim to be smart. President Mbeki told the world that your leaders lied in polokwane conference, where the political report ,that could have told the truth was not read and they never wanted it to be read. Lairs of note claiming leadership at all costs. Shame on you

Money and power in SA is a dangerous thing because the person given the responsibility to look after the rest of the nation, abuse his power to gain money. Sporadic electricity supply due to ageing power plants - And Medupi and Kusile still not online going on 10 years after they were planned to be completed. He said he chose to go down with his people...''Who are his people'' when our people don't have land and he stood with Land owners ? Self conflicting Lekota ? Why he waited fro like 45 years to reveal this ? 2 months before elections ? After their release he was invited by Student leaders to clarify the same issue and he dismissed it ..! why now ?

Lekota is politicking, one question why he kept quiet all these years and he is one of the cdes who elected Cyril Ramaphosa as the Secretary General of the ANC. He will never say this out of the parliament as he know cyril will sue him. We believe in evidence I mean substantive evidence, theres no evidence to prove this from Lekota it's only his assumptions. This thing of accusing of people of being IMPIMPI without proof is dangerous ask zuma, the young brother to CJ Pius Langa was brutally murdered because he was accused by this one person of being an IMPIMPI only to found out there was no such. Unfortunately we cant wake him up now as he is dead. Zuma accused former minister Hanekom of being a spy he had to pay a lot of money as he sue him left right and centre. Listen to what Lekota is saying and tell me what proves that Cyril sold out??? Listen carefully. All of us were arrested and the special branch police were playing us they will release you earlier than others and this will sometimes makes others think you would have sell them out. It was a very sensitive situation especially if there are doubts amongst yourselves. We decided we only believe that when we have substantive evidence. We wont go around accused cdes of being IMPIMPI willynilly or those we dont like. WHY DID LEKOTA ELECT THE SAME IMPIMPI TO THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF THE ANC WHEN HE KNEW THAT HE SOLD OUT??? WHY ONLY NOW??? THIS IS CHEAP POLITICKING AS HE IS LEFT WITH ONLY 2 MP IN HIS CORNER AS COPE. Anyone including Lekota will jump if anyone can accused him of being IMPIMPI as it is a very serious and extremely bad thing to be a sellout. Innocent people died because they were accused by those who did not like or had personal issues with them of being IMPIMPI. Thabo Mbeki saved some of them at the Truth and Reconciliation Commission as he suggested the ANC must appear as an organisation instead of individuals within the ANC as the CJ Pius Langa family took one of the ANC member to the commission because they knew he was involved in the killing of their young brother. I WILL BELIEVE LEKOTA ONLY WHEN HE SHOWES ME PROOF THAT CYRIL DID SELL OUT UP UNTIL THEN TO ME HE IS JUST POLITICKING AND PLAYING A DANGEROUS GAME.
