Leiden- Top 10 Things to See & Do
New Amsterdam Travel Tip Video: Leiden has it all- history, art, beauty. And it's only about a half-hour train ride from Amsterdam by train. It is the birthplace of Rembrandt and the home of the British Pilgrims in the 1600s. Explore a castle-like citadel on top of a hill in the middle of the city center and walk through arched gateways and cross over canals on narrow bridges. And Leiden is also a modern city with lively cafes, restaurants which are filled with university students. It's another great daytrip if you want to discover more places in the Netherlands beyond Amsterdam.
