Leicester City 2015/16 Winning Team - Where Are They Now?
Let's start with their larger than life captain, Wes Morgan. The center back was the one who lifted the trophy and was a household name at the King Power stadium even before that. After the title win, he would subsequently remain at the club signing one year deals.
We would be wrong not to mention his partner in crime that season, Robert Huth. The two made a solid center back pairing, making league strikers terrified of coming up against them.
Someone Leicester fans would love to see back was their number 1 for many years, Kasper Schmeichel. The son of arguably the greatest goalkeeper in Premier League history, he had quite a shadow looming over his career but he delivered and then some.
Our list could never be complete without the man who broke records that season and was the face of the team- Jamie Vardy. He broke Van Nistelrooy’s record for consecutive games scored in that season against none other than Manchester United.
Lastly we have the man who made it all possible for his team, the manager Claudio Ranieri. Dubbed “The Tinkerman” during his time at Chelsea, Ranieri is still going strong even at 71 years old.

Although they didn't get much time starting, big shout to Andy King & Leonardo Ulloa!! So big for us! A nice fact; Andy King is the only player in history to win League 1, Championship & Premier league with the same club.
We can all agree 15/16 season was the biggest miracle in Premier League History. :Edit Holy Hell never expected this to get so much attention thanks so much guys!

Yes! It was a privilege to be a City fan that year :)
Danny Drinkwater should've stayed at Leicester, like Vardy did. All of these blokes are club legends! - Pity no mention of Any King & Leonardo Ulloa 😞
I can remember watching Mahrez's first game at Leicester in storm conditions. He made an instant impression! One notable omission is Leonardo Ulloa, who kept the goals coming when Vardy got injured later that season
Many of that team were assembled by Nigel Pearson, Ranieri had the good sense not to try to 'improve' them. They had won a lot of matches late in the season before and he realised that if it wasnt broke he didnt need to fix it.

As a Manchester City supporter since the 70s one of the games I will always cherish in my memory was the 3-1 they got at Etihad, obviously you never what to see your team lose, but there was something very special about that side. Not that Leicester fans will thank me they reminded me so much of the Nottingham Forrest team that won the title back in the late 70s.

As a Leicester supporter since the early 1970s, that was the day I started to believe that it might just happen. And like Clough's Nottingham Forest side, they were a competent side managed exceptionally well rather than an exceptional side managed competently. Cheers.
They're baaaack! The only side to win the EPL title outside of the Big Six this century, and then be later relegated, wins the Championship this weekend and returns to the Premier League this summer. Come on you Foxes!

Love the narration
Leicester prove that they were and still are very good at buying talented players at very low prices, then those players being sold at generally very high prices. The scouts must be acknowledged. OK it has not always worked out, thinking of Islam Slimani and recently Ryan Bertrand. But they also have had players shunned by clubs who have come good Jonny Evans. Although that season may never be repeated there is always an outside chance, that's the beauty of the game. Leicester are looking good for going back up and must have surprised everyone with the results so far dropping just 13 points from 75 possible. It was a unique time and one I'm proud to have witnessed; although Gary Lineker presenting Match of the Day in his pants is an image that has disturbed me for years 😅😅😅

Even though I’m a Derby fan through and through, I was happy the Foxes won it that season. Great to see a club outside the so-called “elite” win what’s become an increasing boring parade, and a reminder than there are times when all the money in the world can’t buy you the league (*cough* City *cough*)

@@brightsamuel5325 Why lucky? They won it by a margin of 10 points with games to spare. Several Premier League winners have done it with less than 81 points. For example: Manchester United in season 1996-97, 75 points; Arsenal in season 1997-98, 78 Points; Manchester United in season 1998-99, 79 Points; Manchester United in season 2000-01, 80 Points and Manchester United in season 2010-11, 80 Points.
