End of August this year a friend and I went to Spain to experience the legendary Tomatina festival. To be honest, I wasn't sure if it is a good idea to photograph there because conditions are rough. However, looking back I can say that it is fine to bring a camera but you have to protect it from all the filth. 😁

Taking a Q3 here was brave .. holy shit 😂 really enjoyed the video. I have a roll of Aerocolour in my fridge (Flic Film Elektra 100) and I cant wait to use it. Gorgeous looking film

Yes, the film looks really nice. My cameras are meant to be used, so I might as well bring them wherever I decide to go. And of course having insurance makes the decision much easier. 😆

I have the Konica Genbakantoku. Bought it to capture my grandson at the park, lake, pool etc. Wasn't eager to use my Leica either around sand.water and muck! Love mine, your captures turned out brilliantly also. Cheers ~ Peter

Thank you Peter! The Leicas are much better for normal use cases but scenarios like you've mentioned the Konica is hard to beat. 👍

It's great but for normal circumstances I'd much rather use my M6. However, the Konica is a great option and can take a beating. 😊

They've been doing this since a few centuries afaik. Everything is cleaned right after the event. I guess, the money coming in makes it all worth it.
Mental note to myself: never buy any used camera gear from @the_real_sir_robin.
