i generally dont like the agressive bruce gilden style flash frontally in your face without asking -photography for streets. but as u are in general then afterwards exchanging a bit and making contact, I think you practice a good calmer version of that. and your streetportrait pictures are great.

The flash is very subtle because it is small and on a very low power setting. Bruce Gilden was jumping in front of people because he wanted to capture their reaction.

Hi, most of the cameras you have as far as I could see are rangefinder cameras, but also a TLR camera. Have you also tried the world's first 35mm single-lens reflex camera, the Kine Exakta, or one of its successors? Exakta Varex VX Exakta Varex IIa Exakta Varex IIb Exakta VX 1000 (GDR) or Elbaflex VX 1000 (FRG) (Exakta VX 500 is only the slimmed down version of the VX 1000 twins) tried them? The cameras are compact, designed for left-handers, but also relatively heavy. In return, they have a huge selection of different interchangeable viewfinder types, via light shaft viewfinder, prism viewfinder, TTL prism viewfinder, have an integrated film cutter function, except for the VX500 and apart from a 1/1000 down to Bulb also in the longer exposure times up to 12 seconds a very large time selection. Of course, there are also so some very ingenious among other things interchangeable Zeiss lenses , but also from other manufacturers for this model series, only you should be careful to catch the ones that have the shutter release lockable on the lens. ;) I think if you have found a little in this pure, you can use the camera also very ingenious for street photography. I can only recommend it, even if it may be a challenge at first. So I love challenges and meanwhile I just love this camera. For example, I prefer the Exakta Varex IIb and these cameras are not that expensive. They are not witchcraft, however I would recommend you to watch at least a little tutorial beforehand.
