The Battle of Budapest was the 50-day-long encirclement by Soviet and Romanian forces of the Hungarian capital. The siege began when Budapest, defended by Hungarian and German troops, was encircled on 26 December 1944 by the Red Army and the Romanian Army. The fighting in Budapest was fierce. The German-Hungarian garrison rejected the offer of surrender, Soviet parliamentarians were killed, contrary to the laws and customs of war.
The city unconditionally surrendered on 13 February 1945. It was a strategic victory for the Allies in their push towards Berlin.

Штурм Будапешта представлял собой 50-дневное окружение венгерской столицы советскими и румынскими силами. Осада началась 26 декабря 1944, когда Будапешт, защищаемый венгерскими и немецкими войсками, был окружен Красной Армией и румынской армией. Бои в Будапеште были ожесточенными. Немецко-венгерский гарнизон отклонил предложение о капитуляции, советские парламентёры были убиты, вопреки законам и обычаям войны. Город безоговорочно сдался 13 февраля 1945 года. Wow, wow, wow! congratulations, this is the best ww2 stop motion ive ever seen. The set, the figures, the vehicles, the animation and the scene composition was all about as good it gets, I felt like I was watching a movie, great great job!
The stop motion is very smooth, and each character's reactions and animations really feel realistic. Incredible work, my friend.

really good job doing the animation, the one problem is that you should probably add some camera shake and darkening filters on it to make it feel less like a stop motion

Скорее всего , у парня просто нет времени , наверно учится или работает , съемка анимации процесс трудоёмкий , надо анимировать фигурки, декор строить , монтаж спецэффектов , это отнимает очень много сил , времени , по себе знаю

Germans wasn't losing that fast. Mostly the batles were won after hours of fights because of that Russians were just storming and losing a lot of men. The fights were longer. But anyway, really good job. Nice looking animation. And one more thing Those tanks in this film looks abosolutely amazingly scaled to minifigures

can't have a stopmotion lasting >1hour :) the main point is that they were losing and the soviets were having many casualties. but the soviets did have better tactics at this point of the war, therefore they took budapest in 2-2.5 months)
