I designed the ratchet and clock face, and adapted David Ziemkiewicz's escapement design to work with the pieces I had. Run time is only about 2 to 3 hours if hung 2 meters from the floor. Top and bottom bobs add to about 100g for the top and 150g for the bottom, it would be ideal if this were doubled. Easily the most frustrating part is getting the escapement perfectly tuned to not skip or stop, I find the goal is to try to get the escape wheel teeth to grab the side of the plus shape in the pallets instead of the center of the plus shape, this is accomplished by slightly adjusting the angle of the pendulums.
