I think I stopped buying SW sets not only because they tend to be expensive and too big but also because of prevalence of grey color in them lately. SW universe is more colorful than that.

Like Jang has said in the past, if you have figures in a set that look really nice and you just want to get those figures; you're better off going on bricklink then to actually spend more money for a Lego set.

All depends on how much they are worth tbh. If Thrawn still ends up being over £10 it probably isn't worth it unless you just want that figure.

I've followed this advice but also consider buying the set (on sale, if possible) if a minifigure is priced ≥50% of the set's cost. Plus, Bricklink's shipping fees really add up.

What you say makes sense, except unfortunately many of these Star Wars figures can easily go for over $10 each, and then you factor in the shipping costs of BrickLink and you end up paying more for just the figures than if you got the set directly from LEGO... If only LEGO made the minifigure parts from licensed themes available on the PAB site...

Star Wars sets would honestly be banger after banger the last few years, if they would stop tacking on the stupid “Star Wars tax” to these prices

Star Wars tax isn’t really a thing since licensing costs are spread out across company budgets. It’s more of a “Star Wars fans will buy anything” tax. But I don’t know if I’d call this set a banger.

I honestly believe that if Lego lowered the prices again then so many more people would buy the new sets and Lego would make even more money than they’re making with the overly high prices. Every time they increase their prices they lose buyers which means they have to charge even more. They need to go in the opposite direction. Cheaper products, more buyers, more profit.

The night trooper has me hoping for the imperial “police” gunship. It’s been appearing in so many Star Wars projects lately

Compare it to the Obi-wan set. Both are grey stands with figures. But here the stand has more verticality with the pillars, the figures are more interesting (the spy lady just had an standard imperial uniform and Vader appeared in other sets), and ultimately I think the scene was cooler and more interesting. I didn't even love Ahsoka as a series, but the final was cool, and I'll definitely get this set (though I'll wait for at least 15% discount somewhere)

All of these figures except the stormtropper work for dnd. I might just get this set and customize them, the prints are so insanely good.

It seems like there's a lot of lego sets where the scene could've just been done on a baseplate. Are the spinning baseplates testing well in focus groups or something?

I am excited for this set and the skiff but I am not excited for the prices

Fantasy fans gonna love the Ezra torso and legs. That's what I'm gonna get lol.

I’ll definitely wait for it to go on sale. It definitely seems like a set that’s asking for a MOC base part to build it up a little more.

I think I'm just resigned to waiting for sales on all these licenced sets now. They'll eventually be 20% off somewhere after a few months' time (unless they're LEGO exclusive). Patience, patience 😞

No excuse for the yellow line to not be a print. There are EIGHT of them!

JANG you have the best rewiews always hands down...if they dont get your approval i do not buy...love this set!!

I had the blue general guy from a rebels set and it was exclusive to the set. I’m sad but happy that he’s coming back. I do see that he has different hair and face so at least mine is a little different and exclusive still. Love the video❤️

These minifigures are going to be on BrickLink at way above $10 each when the set becomes available.

Obi-Wan vs Vader 2: Electric Boogaloo: Return of The Volume (although this one will probably sell much better on account of Thrawn)

They love doing these chunky display base sets now, at least this one has a spinning function, I know the obi wan v darth vader big grey slab was a shelf warmer for a while, but that was way uglier tbf

I seriously think there’s a brick built solution here for the lines on the ground for the most part, other than the circular parts which could be prints (since there’s 4 of them). The pillars aren’t the biggest deal to me, but seems like they could’ve thought this through a little more.

Should’ve been an undead death trooper. Hopefully they’ll be in an upcoming battle pack

Yeah, with these minifigs, I’m definitely in. It’s a definite buy for me. The terrain looks cool too, despite the stickers.

$55 for a glorified battle pack is insane… throw in Sabine, Huyang, Baylan, and Shin… for $45… then I’d probably be interested 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ezra's eyes look too bright and a bit weird to me, but the rest don't look so bad.

I think £55 is expensive but by not that much 45 would have been the base, add inflation and demand you get that 55 price point. This display stand/diorama is waaaaaaaay better than the Kenobi slab set. But i feel like Ahsoka and Ezra got all the budget and the rest were left fighting for scraps, Thrawn looks good if not similar to the previous version which makes sense, no leg printing on Elsbeth is trash but her Night sister get up is good though. Enoch should have been here as for him to be in a battle pack defeats the purpose of multiple purchases i hate named characters in battle pack sets.

Center disk hasnt a remote. The disk is slightly sticking out so you turn it from the front with your thumb.

what element is being used to hold those Gold rods? my only guess is an inverted cup(goblet?) with a 1x1 with a hole in it connected to the rod and bottom section

My only gripe, they should really make Ahsoka's blades 3L. 😅 I"m just using 3L light bluish grey pieces, bu translucent would be better.

I just want to say thank you for acknowledging that these prices are LEGO responding to what people are willing to pay. We can talk all we want about the 'Disney tax,' and yes, there are plenty of overpriced sets in the Marvel and Disney lines as well, but not at nearly the same rate that we see them in Star Wars. And at the end of the day, that's because LEGO Star Wars fans have proven time and again that when they're done complaining they'll buy the sets anyway.

I really feel like they should have included Enoch in this set even if he replaced the night trooper, that way they could have made a battle pack with 4 unnamed troopers. I suppose they could still make the battlepack with 4 night troopers but we'll be missing Enoch. Maybe when Ahsoka season 2 comes out.

I hope that Lego uses a Lego Zombie head for the knight trooper sent’s their all zombies in the show

As much as we can see the problems with this set, I'm still looking forward to your review regardless to hear your own proper honest and objective opinions on it which is a lot more valuable and trustworthy than some LAN member who'll just fawn and drool all over the set cos "it's so awesome and the figures and build experience is amazing that makes its $55 price worth it and it's the best Star Wars set of this year!" I cannot take those kinds of reviews seriously at all; it's easy to say any set is worth it or is the best when they didn't pay anything for it and really rubs me the wrong way.

I have 3 issues with this set. One is obviously the price. Sure theres pieces but the play features seem lacking. As well as my number two the night trooper. When we saw them in the show their armor was all ton and cracked. His armor looks pretty clean just wish Lego could've painted like a deal crack across the helmet or something to that effect. And 3 theres very little detail in this set it feels like all the details are in the stickers.

Why won’t they give us any bad batch sets ?? Also legos prices are becoming embarrassing

The 5 minifigures are great but without any night zombie trooper. Lego could have make it 6 minifigures with last one as night trooper. It's a shame there are none of it that fought Ezra.

I already caved and bought a knock off Lego Thrawn so I probably won't even bother buying him used before his price shoots up.

Uhh Why aren’t Ashoka’s lightsaber hilts curved? They should of used asaja ventress’s lightsaber handles instead of the straight ones. In the tv show her lightsaber hilts were curved

I'm not looking forward to trying to get all those stickers lined up. Not a fan of having multiple stickers for single continuous designs!

The 3 nightmothers would have been a good inclusion.

Except, I don’t like the really long and skinny ones that are super easy to misalign.

The night sisters should have used the same spell they used to summon Talzin’s sword to send Thrawn into the main galaxy. Definitely a nice set though, regardless of the lore shattering.

How is it that Ezra a human fig has no pupils unlike all other human figures so far, but morgan elsbeth who has pitch black eyes after being given the nightsisters power has white pupils?..

If they’re gonna make the sets more expensive, they could at least make the set look a bit more valuable. This is blatantly just a grey platform with some thin black pillars.

This set looks amazing, instant buy for me. Too bad it doesn't come with Enoch like it was rumored. Hopefully we'll get him soon along with a Night Trooper bp

$55 for a small, grey slab with 5 minifigs on it......LEGO has really lost the plot on this one. This is exactly why I don't buy LEGO SW sets anymore.

@@JANGBRiCKS Hey Jang. Unfortunately, expectations for Andor were quite low. Everyone thought it would be just another filler show. Positive word of mouth eventually redeemed it, though. I'm glad we're getting S2 next year.

This is ridiculous. Just release the figure on their own at this point.

I wish they would make more fun sets for kids. What is an 8 year old going yo think of this? You could make the entire set yourself out of cardboard and it would be the same.

Disney tax ruined the whole theme. It's not like licensed sets can't be fair priced. The Minecraft sets have no stickers and are reasonably priced.
