Lego nailed it with this set. My only wish would have been a mold for the mithral, however they would likely never use the mold again. Just received mine in the mail minutes ago so I’ll be very busy this weekend

Me personally I don’t think it matters all that much. I think the printing still looks great and as far as LEGO has been lately with it’s inaccuracies I’m just grateful they didn’t skim out any more.

"We don't want exclusive figs in expensive sets" C3p0 in the landspeeder , the 2 figs in the star destroyer, I think there was like 7 in the cantina MBS. And now 3/4 figs are exclusive in this $600 set. They're the ones being hypocrites and childish. But the fans are childish when we call em out on this shit?

I like it but for the money I feel like the ucs gunship is better for display and value being 200$ cheaper

I feel the same way about this as I do the UCS Millenium Falcon. Ridiculously beautiful set. Wish I had the money to buy it and the room to display it. With neither, I can only admire from afar.

I’m building it right now. Although the first 2 packs feel more like chores but after pack three it gets better.

a good way to think about the sticker color mismatch could be imagining its repairs to battle damage, so its not the same exact metal, rather scrap metal. Also would fit nice in the universe.

I love this set, they did such a great job getting all the angles right. The stickers and cockpit make it less than perfect but I can live with that. Mine is on its way 😀

That version of a mandalorian (Din Jarin) is easily the best mandalorian ever made. The mitheral should have had a custom head mold though. Kuill is not looking as bad as the original leak though still looks a little wonky. Beautiful set though!

You have to remember, the point of these sets is the big build, not the minifigures. Lego doesnt want to put exclusive minifigures in expensive sets. Just ignore the 3 of the ones in this set though.

Let's not forget all the exclusive figs from the Cantina... Or how about the 2 figs in the UCS star destroyer.. Or C3PO in the landspeeder Or the 2 figs in the UCS ATAT. Hypocrisy at its finest. Only the best is good enough.

With the off-gray stickers, they could have easily made the gray parts clear; they do that all the time to preserve the underlying brick's color

They could make a new mould for the swamp monster green minifigure in monster fighters but not for this figure in a $600 set. That’s wild. Both would be very close in moulding too.

This really is a neat set, bit pricey but I think it’d make for a great display piece. Love that it has a detailed interior, huge plus for me! Will probably pick this up at some point down the line. Great review as always MNR :D

I absolutely love how this looks, they did such a great job capturing the Razor Crests angles and how imposing the ship is. It's definitely very expensive for the world of LEGO but I feel as though there's more than enough to justify the cost. The worst part IMO is just how awkward the size is for display, I'm already having a hard time displaying the UCS Gunship and UCS ISD with the rest of my collection, it's difficult spacing wise when a set is so large it requires its own display area. Still an amazing set, the designers really went above and beyond for the little details, which might not be fully necessary for a display set, but a welcome addition nonetheless. Also, you have no idea how fast I hit play on this video lol I've been awaiting this review since the set was confirmed.

Another reason why they might not have included that sliver is because it gets pretty scratched up in the bags. (Noticed this on the Hubble telescope in my Space Shuttle set)

I have been looking forward to this.

In relation to the price argument in the end, I think that price needs to be more of a factor when looking at the best sets of each wave. For example, I think that a good 40$ set is better than a good 140$ set because the 140$ set should be held to a higher standard

I’m going to be honest, I think I like this set more than the ucs falcon. It is such a smooth and fluid build and I just absolutely love it

I love building this thing so far. I got it for 1/3 the price at auction and it was brand new 100% complete.

Honestly, I think I’m gonna get Brick vault’s model. First, this set is HUGE. Actually quite larger than mini-fig scale. I’d love to build it someday but I think the custom set has way better shaped and angles, retractable landing gear, a stand, a cleaner cockpit, and an interior with lighting as well.

Mando's hair on the Mythrol when you're displaying all of them is an interesting look 😆

Got mine on the way. Can't wait to put this together. Might need to look into getting a new display cabinet though. As the ones I got probably won't fit this beast.

Lego says that they are reducing they're environmental impact, but yet they have just implemented a new thick, heavy yellow ink, instead of just printing at a more thin consistency with a more pleasing image.

My favourite thing about lego as a child is I can only afford 1 set a year and the set I like most are the big ones for the 18 plus range like the cantina but I could never be able to possibly get them due to me struggling with social situations like jobs due to autism.

If you have an older Din Djarin minifigure, Malikili's head from the Rancor Pit set makes a pretty good substitute for the blank black head.

I like everything but the new mando helmet looks a bit off. But besides that this set is a beast

Ryan. the designers said the printed plaque will come in the future, they said that after the crest was released. Also lego fixed the helmet and you mentioned that. But when lego messed up the helmet you went on about it for months

The plain yellow instruction manual could be to help figure out what manual you have/are looking for, especially if you have a lot of Lego sets and a lot of Lego manuals with a bunch of graphics on them - therefore a sea of visual manuals to sort through, where the plain yellow manual with the overall build on it stands out.

The cockpit detailing reminds me of the Falcon Cockpit SDCC exclusive from a few years back.

The stickers, the minifig, the grey color, the price and obviously the fact that I don't love the original design makes it a pass for me, but the respect of the design, the work on interiors and the minifig scale really surprised me.

Doesn’t anyone remember the stickers that were partially clear so that you wouldn’t have a difference in color?? Well I guess lego didn’t either and they went with a slightly different grey and not clear, but I haven’t seen these types of stickers in other sets for a long time either, it’s really weird that lego is sometimes forgetting about things they’ve used 10 years ago.

I'm confused, Lego said they didn't want to make exclusive minifigures locked behind the paywall of expensive sets. Interesting change in direction from what was said last year with the Gunship debacle.

I would buy that in a heart beat, even more so if they include the special festures like the chaff luncher, movable side wings, laser emitters, etc

I really like that box concept art that would really tempt me to cut those parts out and frame them.

It'd be really hard to find a lot of those pieces in chrome colors. He could only replace a few of them, and then it'd look even weirder than before.

Anyone else notice how every print lego does for the mandalorian is off-center? It isn't center on the ceam and is noticeable when you look from the right side compared to the left

i find it interesting that one of the interior control panels is a reuse of the printed tile for techs backpack

Hey Ryan, I have a suggestion for your videos. With sets like this that have intricate build techniques, you should show them while you're building to include in review videos. Just a suggestion, love the vids!

Dang that’s cheaper than US

I like how they changed "The" to "Le" on the top panel, but couldn't be bothered to change the other "The" on the side panel to "El".

I still think that helmet print could be a lot better but maybe I just expect too much from the graphic designers. The vertical part of the visor doesn't get slightly thinner as it goes down like how the real helmet's visor does, and I also think that the added accents shouldn't just be straight up black, they need to be more of a gray color to add a bit more subtlety. As of right now, they pop way too much.

I love this set! It stands out very well in my layout and I think that the figs are awesome because we for sure wouldn’t get the mythral or quiel (however you spell it) in any other set.
