It's becoming all too common for Jang's reviews to include the phrase "it doesn't feel like x dollars worth of stuff." Lego is a great company, but it is really feeling like they're getting greedy with their prices.

I think if they just used some kind of pauldron/armor piece it could've made Thanos look bulky enough to be considered a bigger character. But in general, having all the characters being the same size is fine, that's the charm of collecting minifgures after all imo

1*1 plates on his feet to make him taller, and bulky armour like Wrecker from the bad batch set would be perfect imo

I stg Jang, you are the only down to earth Lego reviewer Everyone else complains and complains and complains for the smallest of things You on the other hand try to understand *why* those things are like that, and see both sides of everything in the sets

I'm looking forward to the day they make big figs more poseable - leg, head, arm and hand articulation. I've seen some fanmade designs that look terrific. I love the giga-figures like Grawp, ant man and the villain from wonder woman, and I hope eventually big-figs will more closely resemble minifigures in silhouette.

​@@michaelsimpson1224 No I think it would be better if they re-designed the old 4 Juniors/Jack Stone figs to use regular minifig heads and hands (and maybe have separate/swap-able torsos and legs) for use as a new "largefig". I mean, it would still be cool to seem them do the longer arms and legs again, but for bigger figures that are suppose to be bigger then just a tall person (like Thanos or Prof. Hulk), but not quite massive bigfig size, something more akin to the 4 Juniors size figs would be better.

Big figs also should be much smaller, current ones just seem too large for Thanos or Hulk. Something just a little bigger than minigure would be nice, like old Jack Stone figures or new Hagrid.

In my opinion the build works pretty well for a mini sanctuary 2. I like sets like this.

If you look at the back of the box you see the ship positioned as if it's coming out of the quantum realm. I think this is lego's justification for why it's a small scale build. It's bc it's from when it was coming through the quantum tunnel. Also the reason why there probably isn't a red gauntlet in this set is bc thats in the $70 endgame final battle set so lego wants to encourage people to buy that set to get the accurate red gauntlet. Just my thoughts at least. Great vid as always!

Recent pricing on Lego sets does make one wonder if Lego has reach a point where the current issues around the global supply chain as a whole with increased shipping costs and raw material prices increasing can no longer be absorbed by the company when it looks like these issues will be going on for quite some time to come. While I would love to see a large scale USC style set of this ship one day, I can accept that will likely never happen given it's smaller presence in the movies to other space craft so am looking forward to building this when it finally arrives in the mail (it's getting pretty bad here (Australia), 2-3 times at least for domestic parcels to arrive and we haven't even got to the Christmas rush, Austpost has been running at that level for a while now already, Christmas is going to break them!).

I was so excited about this set until I learned that this set costs $50 in my country. The same thing goes with many other sets including: the Shang-Chi dragon set ($50), minifig-scale Tumbler ($50), and In Arishem's Shadow (about $80). I might get the Tumbler and the Celestial, though.

I like it, looks like a Thanos star fighter, kinda looks like it would fit into Starwars.

I have zero problem with minifig Thanos but could they have made him like Hagrid sized? Or would that make the set much more expensive

Technically, that Thanos did use new parts and differed from any previous bigfigs

This set is like a mix between the Black Manta set and the Captain Marvel quad jet, but slightly more expensive. All 3 have 1 male hero, 1 female hero and 1 villain. Coincidentally all 3 are exclusives where I live.

I'd still like to see Thanos in the style of Axel from Nexo Knights. The ship would have to be modified to fit him, but I think it'd work as long as you put his seat more towards the back than the front.

The ship interior wasn’t really in the films much, I get why they did this size . Good for kids

They could have given Captain Marvel leg-printing (this is a big issue with a LOT of Marvel minifigures).

I think it could work well with the CMF gamora maybe. Something to put her with?

I thought they had forgot to include stickers for the two large slopes on the wings, but it seems the stickers are only there in the official images and the box art, but moved to the back in the actual build.

It’s a nice build, maybe a tad too simple/blocky in the back/cargo area. For a toy and considering the price, it does the job well. On the minifigs, that Captain Marvel needs legs print badly.

The mini figs for Lego in this case is one of the reasons why Mega mini figs are superior. The figures actually LOOK like who they're suppose to be like and often if something is suppose to be bigger, they are consistently bigger. But I still collect both because both have a place in the brick world and both deserve to be better.

I don't have any issue with the set other than its price, really. The ship was only ever really seen from the outside, so trying to design some big interior-focused set would have just been a hassle. It should be a $30 set, but I suppose that Disney Tax has to be in there somewhere.

It reminds me of a droid Carrier ship, perhaps it could be a sign of a droid Carrier coming soonish in this scale

Got my hands on this the other day and ultimately I'm happy with it. I do think it needs another minifigure, especially as we've seen that Iron Man figure already. Captain Marvel's lack of detail is very frustrating as she looks very dull compared to the other two figures. Great review as always.

If Lego had made Mr Incredible like he appears in the video game (ie, make a buff mould) that would work as a minifig Thanos too! Oh well…

How is this the same price as the tumbler?

Good question. The minifigure scale Tumbler is a great set to judge other similarly priced Marvel or DC Superheroes set by (and a great set full stop). The problem is, the Tumbler showed that whilst Lego can still knock out absolutely phenomenal licensed sets for less than £35/$40, they choose instead to bang out bad 4+ sets.

Will wait for Ultimate set

As an outsider that doesn't know anything about MegaConstrux or Halo, this reminds me of Mega's Halo sets in the build for some reason.

Same, I think it's the color scheme and the blocky-ness of some parts The general shape is not really a common Lego shape

I like the thought of that Infinity Gauntlet being a gemless one that was still lying around in the Sanctuary II's hold after Thanos warped from the past to present day.

@@igotin9264 No, no, this is the one Etri already made, but since Thanos time-travelled to the future (after his Nebula used the Avengers' time platform to yeet the Sanctuary II into the present), he didn't need to take it off the ship, since all the stones were in the Nano Gauntlet.

I think it's a pretty good price becasue I get some new figures and in my country I found it for £35

I really wish they made a new helmet for Thanos instead of using that old one. I like th old one for other things but I never thought it looked enough like his helmet. The shape just doesn't work fr Thanos in my opinion and it makes the figure not ven really look like Thanos until you take the helmet off. Just my opinion though.

The most memorable scene from all the movies (for me) that featured this ship is when Thanos tells them all to rain fire on the battlefield because Wanda is about to actually rip him apart. This set should have included Wanda!

In my opinion the ship in this set sort of reminds me of the trade federation droid landing craft from Star Wars the Phantom Menace I don’t know does anyone else see it or is just me I just figured it out now

The mini thanos would be a match for regular thanos.

I think Captain Marvel would have looked better if her torso's base colour was blue rather than red as it looks strange seeing the blue printing up to the neck but then having the red around the neck

Basically do the Sanctuary II the same size as the recent Benitar. Then it might be to scale with the other Final Battle sets and fit a big fig.

This seems very much like a 4+ set to me.

i really like the set, and i love love captain marvel, but i dont think its enough for me to spend 40 dollars. seeing you hold the thing like a ball makes it seem tiny, and when i look at the stud dimensions of it myself it seems more so. will have to pass on most of these new marvel sets

I think this set is made almost entirely with kids in mind. Not a lot there for adult lego fans. But, that's totally fine. I'm sure there are lots of kids that will be happy to have this. However I will say that this ship might be an accurately-scaled version of the ship about 0.062 seconds after it burst out of the quantum realm portal into the Avengers compound. Going from sub-microscopic scale to its actual size of like twenty miles wide or whatever, it was probably about this big for like a nanosecond. So good job there Lego! ;P

You're really just paying for the minifigures in this set plus a small build. It really comes down to the figs at this point in a lot of sets for those who collect them and Lego knows that.

It is very small but there’s just something about the design that makes it so unique I kinda want this set

Technically there's a moment during the quantum transit where this set is 1:1 scale, so... But I really like it - it's hovering above the Endgame area of my shelf (with Carol and a bow-wave of energy blast pieces attached on a couple of clear rods coming in from above) and it's everything I would've asked for (aside from the gold gauntlet maybe, but honestly I thought that represented the original gauntlet in its cradle, before Thanos said "Fine, I'll do it myself" so that didn't bother me). I've seen all the people complaining about how small it is compared to the on-screen behemoth, but I just wonder, how many people would've *actually* bought a big Sanctuary II set? Because I've paid prices I don't care to think about for big ships like Gideon's cruiser, and the only way I'd genuinely consider buying a big Sanctuary II would be if it came with the entire Avengers Assemble lineup of minifigs, and Valkyrie's pegasus as well.

Very true. I think it's fair lego scaled this one down. Seems like a trend all across the board with other themes downscaling too.

You need to start showing the minifigures in the cockpit in your reviews. It'd add 10 seconds at most in your videos.

Clicked it and expected it to be a lot bigger. This one looks disappointing.

The figures are...well only Captain Marvel is the only good looking figure. Which is ironic considering her hate
