Let me know if you guys like the campy faux-action sequence at the end. This one took about 2 hours to do, cheesy as it is, and in that time I could have recorded a whole other review instead! I really enjoy doing the play sequence, but I don't know if it's worth the time. Please help me decide, as ultimately reviews are 100% for all of you, not me!

I LOVE how accurate to the show this set is! The traps, the mirror with Nadakhan, the promoted Clancee, minifigures, everything! We NEED stuff like this, because fans of the show will want the set even MORE! Also, I love how that Garmadon Spinjitzu card is accurate to the real version, with the same artwork and identical stats!

Also, the dungeon feel might be a homage to the fact that the Lighthouse was actually a prison Samukai built for Dr Julien.

The winglets of the little jet, when you pull the verticals together, remind me to Lewa that came with the Axalara T5 (?). Awesome review, keep up the good work!

I LOVE this set so much and it's high on my MUST GET list! Love all nods to the episode but there is one thing what is missing- THE TEAPOT Nya had! And they even have the mold for that now! THANKS for reviews

I can't wait to get this set!!!!! It has the one Skybound ninja I don't have, the one Skybound villain I don't have, a unique version of Jay, the Lloyd Djinn blade, Echo Zane, and the robot! This set is so cool!!!

The Echo Zane is just lovely. I would totally use that face print (along with a custom orange mustache piece) for Hatchworth from Steam-Powered Giraffe.

The pot itself is *not* what provides the traveler's portal. Rather, it's the container for the tea leaves. You see this in season 1 where Lord Garmadon and Sensei Wu individually buy the Traveler's Tea from a specialty shop.

Looks great from the outside, but I agree the inside is a bit lacking. The figure selection is fantastic though. Great review! Especially the play sequence at the end!

For me, it feels really nice to actually see a minifigure made for Echo Zane in this particular set. :) I'd probably consider getting this set for him alone, but I just don't have the money for it right now... Or enough space in my room for that matter. ^^; Oh well, it's nice to look at at-least. ^.^ Great review btw, JANG. :) Also, one thing this set lacks in, which would've been a nice addition; The Traveller's Tea pot, which Jay and Nya had with them in this very lighthouse, as a means of escape. Just saying, it would've made an interesting bonus. :)

maybe the teapot is supposed to be the travelers tea. however then there is the question on why it is gold instead of blue.

Dear Jang! I was wondering if you had any of the original Ninjago sets? because there are not many good quality reviews out there! it would be great if you could review some? :)

I got this set and it's great as a source of very useful bricks but so many holes in the design bother me too much. I didn't keep it for display, and parts of it are already in MOCs.

The playing cart is the Garmadon one, not the Overlord. But he does look like him!

I noticed you were a bit confused on a couple things in the set. First, the actual function was falling dynamite, and not studs, however you technically could use studs: that's clever. But the actual feature involved falling dynamite. Also, the "slide rail" is actually a pipe, if you were confused. Awesome review.

The play sequences are great and I think they should have changed squiffy to dubloon(think thats right) because he does more fighting

I think I have to get this and the serpent helicopter set, rusty Zane, Chan and Claus are seems to be exclusive minifigure

Great price for the amount of characters you get. Lots of action features with minimal detail of the actual structure of the building (from what I see). Looks pretty cool overall though.

Lovely looking set. I don't understand why they made the new tassel pieces in black. Im not familiar with the Ninjago show, so I'm guessing they are colored appropriately for that. I just think making them in red would go better with the Chinese theme, making it more useful for custom stuff.

Thanks for this review. In my opinion, this is a set that has a high play value. I am stuck between buying this or the Green NRG Dragon. I am trying to collect all the ninjas from any season. I have: Cole, Lloyd, Kai (3x) and Jay. Which one should I buy? Btw, I love your reviews and especially the action features; you should do them more.

Whilst the parts list isn't that high it's seems the set is still of a quite decent size. Makes the £60 cost seem pretty good to me.
