as a girl in the 80s i had lego from the age of 3. i was a big lego kid. i still am. i had the lego friends advent this last christmas and really enjoyed it.

I love the train one! Feeling very nostalgic for Thomas the train lately!

The bags were more aesthetically pleasing but the boxes are more environmentally friendly.

And with a lot of countries having increasing restrictions on packaging, this is more something Lego has been forced to do than opting for out of the goodness of their own hearts. lol It also means they don't have a lot of choice.

did you notice that the runner was an amputee with the special running legs on? very cool. thats the one my kid got. i got the train one. i want the goat herder, that one is really cool.

The fish is a Red Herring The dog is an Afghan hound My favorite is the Triceratops costume. I was a tomboy I grew up with tonka toys Legos and hot wheels matchbox toy cars. I didn't have my first Barbie doll until I was 14 years old.

Why did the dog groomer have to have an Afghan Hound? The only time I was ever bit by a dog, was when I was 6 or 7 years old...and it was an Afghan Hound... bit me on the face, and had to have three stitches on my lip... missed out on Thanksgiving dinner because it was too hard to eat solid food for a week.
