This is a really nice model. Ransom fern really did a great job

As soon as I saw how slim it looked I didn’t think it was that bad. but the head to me seemed chunky. The back was just pretty strange. This is perfect though the chest looks proportion and everything is just way better. Also just love the simplicity. I’m definitely going to do this for display

It should have come with an updated mk. 43 like Star Wars does with its buildable characters like Yoda and R2-D2

What if you buy a second iron man Lego set to try and use those pieces to try to make the rest of the body like the rest of the arms and the legs and bottom torso

Does it use any extra pieces that don’t come in the set ?

Perhaps you and your team should make a mech and a monster (in case you ever run out of ideas!) like in pacific rim!

Now if someone could build a MOC with this iron man bust and build the legs and arms and make them as accurate as the rest of the bust make a tutorial of how to build it and then we’d still have a figure and it would look amazing too!

How to build it

In my opinion, the only bad things on the original set are the chest and the arms. Maybe move up the ark reactor and move up the shoulders and the shoulder pads attach to the shoulders :/

The proportions on the redesign is wrong and making it a bust kind of defeats the point, but otherwise it looks pretty good. Lego has to make the figure sturdy enough to be playable and keep the piece count down, so of course a fan version will look different
