The movie scene at the start is not from the Korean War, it is from the Chinese Civil War (1946-1949). Its a movie called Assembly!

So looking into it apparently the US Army had some forms of body armor similar to that, the one the NCO figure has may be T-52-2 Model body armor

These figures aren’t historically accurate because from the Korean War Chinese didn’t have the red stars and btw my grandpa was a veteran that was in the Chinese army and fought the Korean war

Пепаша 41 (Pepasha 41) also known as the PPSh-41 was used by the Soviet red army during World War 2 during almost every battle, also used by North Korean, Red Chinese, Soviet Ukrainian and Belarusian soldiers during most of their conflicts from the 1940's - 1960's.
