Congrats man! Although I was really looking forward to that large scaled bee, it’s still amazing that Lego turned this into an actual set. Can’t wait to get my hands on it!

The fact that you put so much effort and took the time to create this masterpiece is just incredible. :)

I would probably get it and use it in my lego world as big mutated insects that are really dangerous

they chose such a boring set, there were so many GOOD sets!! And they chose that set based off an artwork... Portal would be cool. But hopefully this insect project would be accepted like the birds one a while ago

3/5 insects were brick-built in an official "Ideas" set releasing on September 7th. The Butterfly, the Preying Mantis, and the Hercules Beetle. While the Ladybug is a 1x1 circular title and the Bee is downsized.

As a long time subscriber, I can tell I'm really happy and proud your insects set will become official Lego set! Well done and congratulations!! :)

Really great. For me, this would be a perfect ideas set and worthy sucessor of the dinosaur fossil set. Interresting building techniques and usage of parts, 100% recognizable and a perfect combination of fun and education in biology for children. It would also be somehow a statement to the importance of insects for humans and would give the current flower sets a special meaning. And last but not least a lego set, which doesn't need a licence or has to do with movies, shows or computer games. Your creation is the essence of the Lego idea in my POV. Kudos. 👍

They made pirate sets, Dino sets, and the 3 in 1 are usually wild animals. Pirates brutally murderer people they boarded, dinosaurs could kill anything, and lions can kill you. Pretty sure LEGO doesn’t care about “violence”

Your work is amazing ! The only thing I would change are the horns of the rhinoceros beetle . The larger horn should point up as rhinoceros beetles use that horn to fight .

I love the Ideas set so much that I used this as a guide to add the Ladybug to it!!! Made some slight modifications for structural integrity, and attached it to the Butterfly's base.
