The reason Vernon doesn't have fat lines is because LEGO is reusing a torso from City, but Dudley has a new torso which has fat lines

This is definitely a well made version of one of the most iconic scenes in the movies, it’s not too small and it’s not too big, a great set overall.

Quite like this set, I know people hate Lego Harry Potter game but in the game the animation is pretty cool when he Fred George and Ron escape in the flying car

This set, along with this wave and you rewatching it has made me watch them all for the first time tho I’ve read the books and now I’m hooked

@Kaden Silva you're right, but dudley, vernon and petunia's rooms have ZERO screentime, we never see them so it would be hard for them to make them from nothing.

I think in the films the stairs slope towards the front of the house, but Lego did a great job anyway

Harry Potter Trivia: The first photo you showed was from the first film. The filmmakers rented out the house, but when they went back to reshoot, they were asked for a ridiculous amount of money to get the place. Instead of paying, they built their own 4 Privet Drive, which is the second photo you show in your video. They used that house for every movie following the reshoots from the first film! The second photo with two windows is more accurate!

Cool set

The question of the windows in the house is very simple: when the first film was shot, the exterior of number 4 Privet was filmed in a real neighbourhood, using a house that actually exists in Bracknell. However, after that, a wider replica of the house was built in the Studios in Leavesden. The set house has two windows. The LEGO designers used the design of the replica house for the set, rather than the real one. Which is why the set also has a stone chimney on the left of the roof, something the original real-life house doesn't.

Great set! I'm a huge fan of the first three HP movies (especially the third one, Prisoner of Azkaban) so I'll definitely pick this up.

Love the house build - I wish they could have done without Ron's blue car (as we already got a practically identical one in the Whomping Willow set) and knocked a bit off the price 😭 just seems so expensive if you don't really want the car 🤣

I just bought it and im so excited to build it!

This is definitely my favorite set. I love the burrow one but this one has so many scenes you can duplicate and play features. I did modify mine slightly though... I hate the blue staircase, especially that it’s blue in the cupboard under the stairs. So I switched out the blue pieces with tan pieces and put on dark blue plate pieces as carpet. Then I also switched the carpet in the hallway to a dark green with some sand green (that was what I already had) and the whole thing looks so much calmer and it made me love the set so much more. I’m still thinking of removing the pink wall in ginny’s room in the burrow but I didn’t have the pieces while building so I would have to take it apart again.

This is my favorite 2020 set!!!!

There needs to be another set were it's just owls. 50-60 owls and nothing else, it can be like an expansion to this set

Would be nice to finally get my hands on this next week in stores since it's been out of stock on Lego Shop since 1hr after release. Going to have to fight my way through all the parents to get it, that's if they even show up in store. Guess I'll be crying in Australian until then.

Ask MandR: which boba get minifigure is more exclusive in your opinion, the UCS slave 1 or the newer cloud city? ( the only difference is the face) I have both sets and am not sure which one is more rare than the other

Quite impressed by the Harry Potter sets, as a side note the NInja Go city sets were amazing, I wonder if Lego will continue making them or expanding it.

Would you consider making a video where you go over and talk about all of your video making equipment. I know you have shown off your equipment in multiple videos, but many people would probably wanna see what goes into the making of your videos.

I actually loveeeeeeee how this dobby is smiling here cuz of many reasons. 1. He's a poor little thing already let him smile sometimes. 2. Even tho he had a hard life dobby personality wise issss kinda a happy go lucky guy with such a cheerful spirit especially with his sad environment, but he managed to be happy sometimes, that's so rare and precious and deserve to be shown in lego form. 3. Last and most importantly this lil guy adoresssssssssss harrrrryyyyy. It's not super shown in the movie but in the books it was elaborated. Despite of how risky it was for dobby to show up at Harry's room, he was THRILLED to meet his personal hero. Harry also treated him VERY well, perhaps better than any wizard dobby had yet encountered, again considering he was housed in dracos house, so he was actually happy from the bottom of his heart in this scene particularly when harry talked to him, like an equal, remember?

Personally, I prefer the old car from the first Privet Drive set for the ability to seat Harry and Ron next to each other but this is still pretty dope 🤙

Thank you for getting me into Harry Potter! I really appreciate it but my wallet doesn’t. I’m gonna get all the connectable Hogwarts sets.

I think there is a misprint on Vernon's torso. The dotted line on the side of his torso isn't centered I think.

The set looks so small but jesus the piece count is a lot bigger than I thought

I don't even like harry potter but it looks like a set that would be useful to make a set for stopmotion and to build a city

When i bought this set I was kinda on the fence. I wasn't sure if I was gonna love it or hate it. Only reason I bought it was the mail shooter. I recently finally put it together on stream and man, I fucking love this set. While I love vehicles sets, I adore an amazing building set. This set has me really pumped for my lego site backorder Diagon Alley. The building in this set is so solid and cool looking. Plus you get a really nice car. Only down side is stickers. I suck major ass at putting on stickers but ah shit this set is really good. I love rather then a molded bed or something really shit they created a very nice bed out of pieces. The design time did an amazing design on this set and it's so good. I really can't put into words how nice this set is for it's size and value. The only thing I fear now is wanting to buy all the really cool building sets like the corner garage and police station as they are kinda expensive.

Serious question though.... why are the stairs blue? Not a question, but the stairs are not facing the same direction as the do in the film unfortunately. Other than that, looks solid. Honestly just want it because of the figs.

Very great set definitely one I will get soon the car is a draw for me as someone who doesn’t have a flying car so far (think the car is a Ford anglia )

The biggest inacuracy are the stairs, they go up the wrong way. But very good set.

I am torn. I want this set but it has two flaws that bothers me: 1. The Ford Anglia can't hold two people 2. The interior is all wrong. The stairs go the other way in the real thing, among other things. Is this set worth buying considering these faults?
