I had this set when it came out in 2002. I received it for Christmas when I was 10. I had a lot of HP sets. Today I bought my first Lego set since I was a kid and it’s the new version of this. I had a great time building it. Thanks for this video!

I just built this set last night - I love it so much. I'm waiting for the 2020 version to come via mail so I can do the Vernon pointing at Vernon meme, hahaha. Truth be told, I'm trying to collect all of the 2001-2003 sets that I can. I'm almost there, I think I'm missing about 4 or 5.

In the new ford Anglia the hood is also different it’s smoother than the 2018 the 2020 version has curve pieces instead of one flat piece

Am so excited for the new private drive set it looks awesome and am a big fan the flying ford and the new minifigures

Hi, Jeremy, Thank you for sharing the 2002 privet drive set!, i had this 12 times, when it was reduced to £12.49p, from £24.99p, for the rare piece's, but the 2020 version is incredible :)

Cool vid. Quick question , do you have many parts breaking during your process such as old brown or dark blue..recently took apart a desert skiff from Star Wars and a lot of brown bits shattered.

And all of those dislikes were from Donald trump with hiss different accounts because of that joke.

Sadly the medium blue bricks don't do very well with the peroxide method anyway. Saying that I've had good results with white and light grey pieces. You're best off bricklinking the other parts, (Really challenging getting the correct old light and dark grey for these sets though).

That's a great question Chris and you'll probably hate the answer! The KZread channel does not pay nearly enough to cover my LEGO expenses but I worked hard at school and have a great job which enables me to indulge my obsession.

For missing pieces, definitely BrickLink. Search for the set and then you can get to the parts inventory. I usually add parts I need to my wanted list and then BrickLink will suggest sellers who have what you need.

What's funny is that the Ford Anglia is longer than Minifig Scale. The proper length of accurate scale for a Ford Anglia 105e is 14 studs. The original Privet Drive model is 16 studs. Yet everything else Lego makes is always much smaller. In fact the recent two iterations are much more to scale, with the upcoming one actually looking to be much more accurate by extending the cabin. However, it's still only 6 studs wide, and while that's fine for the cabin, the wheelbase has to be 8 studs wide.

You put light bluish gray legs on Harry when they should be old gray fantastic review btw

love the video! be careful with hydrogen peroxide when cleaning parts. if they are exposed to UV again after treatment it can make the pieces even more discolored than before. great video, just subscribed
