It seems too long for a Lego layout, sure it's good but there is something about version 1 I love 😊

I mostly appreciate the added functionality and smoother shaping. The original is still nostalgic, being one of the first ideas sets and all. I wish I had both versions built so I could do more of a side by side comparison. I would imagine I could go back and forth on which one I like depending on the day.

Does it still fit in through the firehouse doors with the design change?

Unfortunately I don't have that set so I can't check. The car is the same width as the original so it should fit that way, but might be too long so the doors might not close

lego do this design but with the new cast and gunnerseat for afterlife
