I love how there are doors in place where rocks fall. The drill should be a set, though!

I absolutely love the design of the mine train. Those guards on the wheels make it look really minetrain-y. The other vehicles in this set look great, too. The truck without trailer looks like it can tip forward any moment, but that's exactly what they look like in real life so they did a good job at that ^^ Oh and the obligatory mug makes me laugh every time

Coffe, a basic mini figure need

My dad was working with small mining trains like this back in the day and I always loved these, so I bought the parts via "Bricks & Pieces" from Lego and build a version with more carts and a longer track. If you build the rails with 3 3x4 plates (one at each end, connecting to the next rail track, and one in the middle to hold the two rails in place) it even sounds like a "real" RC train. Good stuff!

Hey Jang, I know you've done a lot of lego themed sets but one that really catches my eye is the mars mission line. It would be really cool if you could review some of those sets.

I've always wanted this set for years

I love the site manager torso print. He looks very smart with his tie :P

I loved this set so much!

Jang, you could alternatively switch out the base plate and a few pieces of the grey for white pieces. It could then be used in the polar theme and use the clear ice balls. Would be a sort of mining deep into an ice cave to extract the gold from within the frozen Ice. Might work a little better.

That's really the point of it all... the imagination. I was thinking that claw bucket could be changed out for a magnet.

I have this set and its my favorite!

This will never be as cool as the power miners.

I love this Lego set

i had always wanted that set

This was one of my first sets

Of all lego sets and categories, the mine sets were my favirite. I still have my giant dump truck from the series

Awesome.! I want this set.

i would have thought one would have more lego already, so this makes you use your imagination to build the rest of the set to continue the play there is more than just building from intructions, I think this is a good start to the rest of the play

The ball joint is to keep the rig together when you pull up on the dumper. I like this set, lot's of activity. I agree with some of your points about functionality but that's just LEGO it seems.

Not sure if it was intentional, but that note then pause in the music lining up with when you say "Woah!" at 0:30 is a very nice touch for emphasis. If that was intentional, mad respect for that attention to detail.

There's a scar on my hand from punching the rock pieces after it kept coming off. When it's BNIB it's really loose, and as it ages it becomes more solid, making it easy to build.

3:55 to 5:05 Coolness And the train tracks are from back then like possibly 1970 or 80 to 1990 and the crane as well sorry my cousin has the old crane and tracks but I have it now (I was born in 2006)

The little dump truck looks like it's going to flip forwards with all the weight in the front.

they should put a cave on the back and make the crane do a 360 and the arm to go up and down

Crane, conveyor, crystals... this reminds me a lot of the Aquanauts base, from over a decade ago.

Cam you do a video on on what parts there are for the teain and pther cool little vehicles because it would be cool to have 2 of the trains running also i like it but the could have made the crane better like you said

Eh... Its OK, not something I'd run out and buy. I like the truck, I was surprised by how the trailer attached, but give that it is a dump trailer, it really makes sense for it to be that way. Thanks for the review!

From Evan, age 4: I like your video! I wish there was more stuff you could load up in the truck. I don't think there was supposed to be two bars of gold in that set. But is very cool that part of the back can open up and you can put a track through there. And it's simple to have very many parts and some extra parts for rubble and stuff.

Are the tracks that the little train is on compatible with the other lego train sets?

I think if you took this set, the chima ice mammoth set, and chima fangars ice temple and made a sorta ice cave battle it would be very cool. :)

What specific parts are used for the train. Im talking pick a brick ok also do reveiw on that becuase pick a brick is awsome

I loved this set for it's price, as it came with many things more than I thought. I loved modifying anyways.

I got this set, took me 2 weeks to build this (I was 6)

I wasn't super fond of this City subtheme but this set has a lot of nice features.
