I have to say, I really appreciate the fine details and minifigure expressionism and flamboyance in these film sets. It makes them feel really special.

I like that the Penguin looks like Danny DeVito as The Penguin / Oswald Cobblepot from Batman Returns!

I like the way the car looks. Design wise it's very nice

I love everything from this wave of Lego Batman movie products! The Collectable minifig series is awesome, they introduced some really useful pieces and most of them look amazing. My favorite set is definitely the scuttler. It almost reminds me of vehicles from the Exo-Force series. Thanks for the reviews!

Yep, gonna need that one. Just like Joker's Notorious Lowrider that's a really nice looking vehicle. Since i haven't gotten this set yet i can't say so much about the build itself, but just one tiny optical thing i would have made different are the spring loaded shooters. Might have been nice to make golden (or bronze, is it ?) rockets, so they don't stick out that much. Or maybe clear ones, so they look like another set of lights. But the dark blue ones don't quite fit in my opinion.

I love all the sets that have come out of this series but this is the only one I'm desperate for

I like the curves and overall design of the car. Lego actually did a nice job.

I really wish I could pick this one up! It's a very inspired design.

Reminds me a little bit of the Mercedes G3A. That thing was also a 6x6, but it was more of a truck than a car.

I bought this and pretty much did what you said, removed the fish and reworked the hood ornament, but I also removed that third set of wheels that was unneeded

This is a set I need to complete my collection

I wouldn't mind getting this but remove the missiles and maybe the penguin motif. I love what they did for the fenders

This set reminds me of the Batman Begins Penguin's limo in a more fancy way I'm also marking my calendar for Feb. 10

I'm sure this new Penguin figure marks the end of the original Top Hat piece we all know and love.

Ladondorf I don't think so. I think it'll still have a place for regular minifigs. This one is comically oversized.

I got that "League of Extraordinary Gentleman" reference.

The one thing I can see that is wrong with the car is the button for the spring loaded shooters that sticks up from the bonnet. It just looks a little odd.

This is a good set that is good all around. The only thing I don't like is how the spring loaded missiles are so exposed in the front.

This would look good in the jang museum of automobiles in jang city.....if jang decides to make one...

I definitely plan on getting this one! :D

Does the new utility belt cover most of the old printed batman utility belts on the older batman minifigs? I'm thinking of buying some to add to other older Batman minifigs (specifically Batman v Superman one) but if part of the old utility belt shows it won't look as good.

When I saw the pictures, I thought that the penguin is going to sit in the escape pod already while driving, so he can eject right away instead of making the Penguin walking out of the car.

I think I have a solition for your friction issue try moving the wheels out a little and the red things i forget what you called them out just a tiny bit the wheels should stay on and it should ease up some of the friction

Those are already loose. As I noted in the video, loosening them does not help. Friction comes from the heads of the stopper-ended axles, not the bushings.

Jang, which out of the lego batman movie sets is your favorite?

Hm... I have this set but I don't have that issue with the front wheels. On mine they are rotating freely and normally. JANG, is it possible you have made a mistake in the assembly? EDIT: I looked into this a bit more. If installed correctly, there should be no friction between the "heads" of the Technic axles, as they aren't actually touching. The wheels should be rotating independently and freely with no friction. I see no reason why they should be stuck like yours. Perhaps a defective part? Or something is assembled wrong, and it is something else stopping the wheels on yours?

The car looks very cool, but I can't help but wonder how it would look if the back tires were the same size as the front ones? They look a bit too tiny for my taste, but otherwise, nice set!

The price suggest there should be at least 2 penguins minions in this set!

I can't believe The Penguin gets a huge car when his legs are so stubby they are like a worn out crayon! They could have just slightly smaller!

What I would if I change one thing to this set is put the big tire in the back and the two smaller tires in the front

It looks very appropriately like the custom expensive car a rich person would have ... Or a few color changes and a bit more greebling and you'd have a nice steampunk roadster. The front end already has the look for it.

That would be cool but, i'd like there to be a new mold with the hair attached. If LEGO did make a Mad Hatter minifigure I would really like it to be a similar style as his appearance in Gotham.

Eucep yeah that probably wouldn't be too hard. It's probably 8 studs wide, which should be fairly easy to find.

I'm getting the new Arkham asylum set I'm in the UK so this is a big thing for me I ordered it from Legos website
