@user-cw2pe5ox4c if it helps to describe it in words: you make your chain and at the end, find the last loop you made and go through it. Then pull your working yarn through the loop. It's kinda like your single crochet, just do not yarn over after you go into the last stitch. Just go in, pull a loop and then take the loop through the stitch.

I dont have a hook, could a paperclip bent a specific way work? It worked a bit when i was making my yarn tail, not sure for this haha

Hooks aren’t that expensive. Just go get one or see if you can borrow one.
