Beginner friendly mini Leggy frog tutorial!
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to crochet a mini leggy frog. You can sell the finished product or make it into a keychain
Materials
Green, pink, and black yarn
Polyester stuffing
A 4.0mm hook
Stitch marker
Scissors
A Darning needle

Wow how fun and quick are these to do. Very beginner friendly. Nice and slow.
R1: ch8 R2: make sc in the second chain from hook and then sc across R3: ch1 and sc in the back side of chain R4: 1sc, bbl, 3sc, bbl, 8 sc R5-6: 14 sc all around (Add safety eyes, blush, mouth) -arms- R7: 2sc, chain 7, in second chain from hook sl st 2, chain 3 and sl st 2. Then sl st down the arm, then sc 7. (I personally added smaller hands, her patter is slightly different) R8: Chain 7, in second chain from hook st 2, chain 3 and sl st 2. Then sl st down the arm. Then sc 6. R9-13: 14 sc all round R14: 4sc, chain 7, (same process as arms) sc 8 (same prices as arms) Stuff and then cut a long tail and sew the body together. Hope this help’s slightly! This pattern is a bit changed for my preference.

I absolutely love this pattern, so tiny and adorable! I can’t stop making these.
thanks for the cute pattern & tutorial. i tried making this after a week of crocheting and feeling very comfortable with all the basic stitches, and it turned out just okay because the instructions were often unclear, or skipped over too fast. the camera angle, focus and zoom also made it really hard to see what you were doing at crucial points as your hands blocked it. also it took me a while to work out that by 'st' you meant 'slip stitch' which i have only seen notated as 'sl st', so that was also a bit confusing. a full pattern breakdown in the description or on-screen at any point would have been really helpful too. overall, cute pattern but a hard tutorial to follow, maybe it's just that i'm too beginner for this beginner tutorial though...

This was great! I made a couple alterations to get things more even for me, but it is very simple. The bbl part was a little Confusing at first, but once you get it it's easy. I even gave mine some cakes 😅

I really really love the frogs i made with this pattern, i also kind of moved the arms around so they look even + i made the legs longer.

Could you help me understand round 7,please? In round 7 there's 2sc,then arm, 7sc,arm,6 sc,totall of 15 (2+7+6=15), but in rounds 6 and 8 we have only 14 sc. So where I should put an extra sc? Please, I need heeeelp
