I loved watching Arn work. Power and speed with great execution. Enjoyed him on the mic too. Loads of skill.
Arn Anderson is the greatest tv champion ever. One of the best on the mic 🎤. He made you believe wrestling was real. My favorite wrestler of all time ⏲️. Thanks for the memories Double A. 👍
Great shoot. He is one of the top true greats in my opinion

Yep he's old school. Wouldn't have anything to do with their question about kayfabe lol
Arn Anderson is a class act ...Arn Anderson is what a great wrestler is and what I'd hope an up and coming wrestler would aspire to be... Thank you Arn Anderson...GOD BLESS !!!
First of all welcome to my home.... what class double A has

It's that good ole Southern upbringing.
The Promo Arn gave at Fall Brawl 95 before the match w Flair was so great. Such a pro
Thank you. Terrific interview. I have always respected him and his honesty. I read his book several years ago it was really good. I think this was done several years ago, because he mentions Chris Benoit as the best wrestler. Not sure why he avoided the Kayfabe question. The answer was simple. Kayfabe was real and serious business in the 60's- 80's. Wrestlers lived their gimmicks. Now it's long gone, but people still like wrestling regardless.
this is definitely one of the best shoots ever done by rf, i really hope they get to do a volume 2 with arn, he has a whole lot to add to this..................................................................................
AA was reflective and introspective about his journey and the business during the interview. I remember the Horsemen when I was in high school (1984-88). Arn was my favorite as the Enforcer. Still is to this day.

I agree with your statement here regarding his introspectiveness. I also want to say you went to high school at a really neat time and that must have been cool for you. Have a good one, brother.
I could listen to Arn Anderson all day
Wow this is rare . Never thought he would ever do a shoot interview . I know this is old . Maybe this is why has not done one in recent years . Very professional approach.

He still kept the kayfabe real. Did it very well.
arn anderson and i was a baby face fanatic back in the eighties grew up 2 hours south of richmond virginia loved going to the coliseum and watching those guys and arn was a huge part of it so mr anderson being a 42 year old man and speaking with the heart and love and passion of the 9 10 11 and 12 year old kid thank you for the memorys you were great and are a true legend in my book
Arn looked the same in the 80s as he does now.

honest interview.... good stuff
Class act
this is fantastic
Great truthful classic informative real pro wrestling video
Arn was brilliant the way he weaved answers in this interview. Giving behind scenes info but also kayfabing at same time
I love Arn and the Horsemen but when he mentioned the possibility of the Horsemen being in the WWF in the late 80s/early 90s, I have to disagree with him. Hogan was so hot in the late 80s and the WWF was always about having the Faces come out on top. I feel like Flair would be told to put Hogan over, and can see Arn and Tully having to put guys like Brutus Beefcake over to keep Hulk and Hulkamania running strong. The Horsemen always belonged in the NWA/WCW. No where else.
What a Mechanic! DBL. A Was a Tremandous Talent. Dedicated to the business. Old School...
Hearing him describe the agony of the pain he was in after his neck surgery is possibly the most chilling thing I've ever seen in a shoot interview. I can't imagine living through something so strong that even morphine can't touch it. He's a man's man.
Always enjoyed Arn Anderson on the mic
Dang, brother. If i was the CEO of a company i would want the Enforcer to be on my board of advisors--and my ENFORCER too..jk. It's refreshing actually to know that Arn is a rare breed of wrestler with great articulation skills, and who can express himself without F-Bombing every fourth word that comes out of his mouth.
he stayed non controversial on almost all questions. Bottom line he was great in the ring. always loved his matches. good mic work also.
INCREDIBLE STORY!!!!!!
all class.... impossible to dislike him .... only thing I disagree with him is Dusty Rhodes and his amount of charisma....
Arn given advice on learning how to talk. Wow, I guess everyone needs practice, and I thought he was a natural.
AA vs Jake The Snake 🐍 was a match the fans missed out on and just imagine the promos those two would've put together
Am I the only one distracted by the cup, possibly made of styrofoam, that Arn was drinking from? Great interview always been a fan of The Enforcer.
Arn is a total class act...I met him in August at Jacobs arena in Knoxville Tennessee...I marked out to shake the hand that stabbed Sid lol...
Class Nothing But Class DBL A, The Enforcer! If the person your speaking to is not familiar with the phrase "A Great Worker" have them view a Arn Anderson match. Every Legendary Tag Team Possesses 1 Constant. A member who can step into the ring face any opponent adapt his skills & Dominate. Arn Anderson is that constant. Flair (aka) Mr. Showmen, The Talker, The Entertainer! Tully (aka) Mr. Finesse, The Ring Technician! Arn. (aka) Mr. Finisher, Enter The Squired Circle At Your Own Peril. The 4 Horsemen, Iconic Matches, Iconic Feuds, 4 Ever Iconic Memories... Cruzer Est. A Fan Since 1982
can't beat aa. liked his tv title runs the best bc he would be on tv putting on a clinic every week
*"I'm calling you out Arn ..."*
True professional. Bad man.
Arn is top class!
My guy..
DbL. A, The consummate professional thank goodness Arn in recent times has been recognized for his talent. Arn’s work ethic in the ring is legendary impressing upon on the next generation its not about you or the cheers & jeers its about the fan’s all the while never violating the trust placed in you to protect your opponents safety. Arn’s contribution to the business will be appreciated for years Arn was not the biggest, the fastest, the strongest but yet he persevered Arn stood out proving hard work, dedication, giving your all wins fans over. I cannot recall a match where Arn did not give his all once that bell rang Arn came at you full boar. Thank you DbL. A.

That itself is a good wrestling name too..
5 Tool Wrestler. Had the look, could talk, could wrestle, could brawl and had that intangible "it".
been watching these wrestler interviews for a while. glad to have seen this one, without old school wrestlers there would be no rock or AJ styles. like alot of the old baseball players. they got paid meager. they did because they love wrestling.

I wasn't a fan of Arn when I was a kid, Ricky Morton was really good at selling LOL , anyways Arn was always a class act and still is , hats off from Alaska
Interested to know why Arn said to "scratch " the kayfabe question.

He's lived his entire life protecting the business, the man is old school. At no point in this did he expose the business. That should pretty much tell you why.
Arn should be with The Revival

When I was a kid, Arn was the only horseman I had respect for. I didn't like him but he was good LOL
Arn Anderson should have had a run with the heavyweight title
I love all the orginal WCW players. WCW will always be number one imo minus the last few years but it always disappoints me to hear all the guys explain how shitty the company actually was and how much better Vince was and is professionally speaking
a hard driving athlete
WCW made HUGE mistakes, but was great for many years. I miss the early 90s Dangerous Alliance, Steiner Bro.s, $ Horsemen. Eric Bischoff and Hogan screwed that company (worse then Herd).

The Turner-Time Warner merger did more damage to WCW than anybody. Read the book The Incredible Rise and Inevitable Collapse of Ted Turner's WCW. That book really paints the picture of just how much of a mess that merger was and how badly it fucked WCW over.
If this was Published on Jul 9, 2017, when was it recorded?

Think its from either late 2000 or very early 2001, he says he is 42 and also when he talking about Eric timeline wise seems to fit.
Politically correct. I believe he still contracted with wwe. Possibly talent or match coordinator something of that nature.

AA looks very uncomfortable doing this shoot

kayfabe 4life
I don't understand why we can't talk about kafabe???🤷♂️
I don't think this can really count as a "shoot" . Yes he is out of character but he ducks the kayfabe question and also speaks about other wrestlers in a way that if you didn't know wrestling was pre planned you still wouldn't after watching this. No mention of scissors??? Right Right Riiiggghhhhttt
how old is this ?

I would like to say late 90's early 2000's. Not exactly sure.
bob armstrong pulled off arns wig.looked like he was scalped
No as a fan I didn't need to hear every wrestler commenting on Hogan getting his mustache shaved.
He’s a nice guy, good pro-wrestler yet he lacks charisma.
arn andreson beaten bye a 12 year old lol
I could take Arn
