This game was ridiculously hard to play but also a true masterpiece.

This game had an insane roster.

That camera angle on Triple H's ring entrance, with the light in the ring....now THAT was authentic!

I think they changed engines last time I read prior to wwe 12 release the last good looking wwe game was SvR 2011 after that the graphics have been terrible

Not every one in this game is dead dumb💩

I remember when getting this game and immediately changing JYD's music over to Grab Them Cakes and Hayes over to Badstreet USA.

I immediately changed Bossman's theme to "Hard Times". It just didn't fit having face Bossman using Cell Block as an entrance theme.

They need to do this with legends of wrestle maina and wwe 2k20

I realized that this game merely had legends of WrestleMania as much as it had mid carders. They could’ve went up to WrestleMania 2005. I actually loved the graphics and controls, but they could’ve had more modes on there. Anybody ever wondered why Michael Hayes was in this game? I loved the Royal Rumble too. Looking at this brings nostalgic memories.

Graphics looked way better than they do nowadays.

I was hoping to see a game like this, a "Legends of the Attitude Era" game. Then WWE 13 came about. What I would love to see is a legends of ECW game. I'm not holding my breath, but it would be nice.

In HCTP, Nikolai Volkoff's name was spelled "Nicholai Volkoff". Also, you remember those cut characters, (Jeff Hardy, Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Molly Holly, William Regal, Bradshaw, Billy Gunn, Billy Kidman, Jamal, Rosey, & Spike Dudley)? Well, my theory is that the legends (Animal, George Steele, Hawk, Hillbilly Jim, Iron Shiek, Jimmy Snuka, Nikolai Volkoff, Roddy Piper, Sergeant Slaughter, Ted DiBiase, & 90's undertaker) replaced those characters.

They need to make a new one of these games with update graphics on ps5 and a good career mode like the first legends of wrestling game

The one thing I wish that they had in this game was Macho Man a story mode and PROMOS!

Hogan looks scary as fuck.

If this game came to iOS devices and no limits on matches and arenas and stars I would make some dream matches like HBK v the rock and many more

No because this version of Triple H was never in the Attitude era.

I'm....surprised no one questioned ultimate warriors appearance in this game, this game came out in 2009 and at this point ultimate warrior still had a lot of amasity with the company and wanted nothing to do with the WWE so, I'm going to assume this was another Ken Shamrock situation.

All themes Taker used (except for American Badass, Rollin' and You're Gonna Pay) are basically versions of the funeral march by Jim Johnston. Rest in Peace is Taker's original theme songs remixed.

They have some cut characters like Bret hart,Randy savage,Ricky steamboat, Chris Jericho ( undisputed champion) and etc

2k14 is pretty much legends of wrestlemania 2.

I finally started playing this game for the first time, only to find out how HORRIBLE the play control is. I was hoping it would be more like WWE 2K14. But it's a total mess. I can't freakin' do ANYTHING that I want to do. And I keep losing every match. Why does simply running the proper direction and taunting feel like a chore? This game had such potential of being awesome. But the controls ruined it for me. Some of the wrestlers have the wrong music too. Such as the Big Boss Man. To my knowledge, he never used this particular theme back when he wore the blue police outfit. This was the theme from when he started wearing solid black. And not nearly as good as his original theme.

He's not, however I can't remember if it's SVR 08 or SVR 09 that you have the option to import every superstar from that game into legends of wrestlemania if you have a saved game on your PS3 or Xbox 360.
