SIOUX/TAINO WARRIOR tbh the ps2 and the gamecube had the best wrestling games! The original xbox had terrible wrestling games like raw and wrestlemania 21.

Yep...and those of us from poor backgrounds who couldn’t afford a PS2, these GC WWE games were all we knew...and they were damn good, not as good as Smackdown Here Comes the Pain, but still good

After sitting and actually playing this I have too say I enjoy it more than today's wrestling games

In the first Day Of Reckoning game (where the ref had a finisher), me and my brother were playing in a hardcore match. One of us accidentally hit the ref with a big move and the ref started attacking, so we turned it into a handicap match. We kept beating the ref for so long with so many heavy grapple moves, weapons and finishers that when the ref went for his finisher, he ended up trying to perform a momentum shift, or as we called it, a “ref-mentum shift”, and the game crashed and froze! That was one of my favorite memories of DOR.

Loved this game. Brings back memories haaa. RIP Garrison Cade aka Lance Cade and RIP Eddie Guerrero hahaha Viva la Raza.

I miss this game

the undertakers entrance looks cool in any video game he is in

i LOVE the mess up they did on Jericho becuase his hair is supposed to be at his shoulders because he cut in like february 2004 and this game started devolping in like March 2004

I love how the Legends have Breaking Benjamin as their theme songs

They should've had Lita, Brock Lesnar, Goldberg and Stone Cold in this game instead of guys like Cade and Jindrak, Basham Bros. etc.

Goldberg and Lesnar were out of the company by this game's development and Stone Cold could have been in it if the system wasn't limited in space. They used it to improve graphically.

Wow how far wrestling games have come from this to what we have now amazing and this was one of my first wrestling game i purchased was not disappointed

I spent endless hours on this game the story mode was fucking amazing to me as a kid i remember being actually impressed with the detail in the story first real story mode on the gamecube wrestling games 💯

this game spawned the CAW ERA that is still going strong to this day...NODQCAW forever

I want to argue that, Day of Reckoning had gameplay inspired by No Mercy, played alot better than smackdown or raw in my opinion, and the entrance customizations were second to none, if you like creating entrances, and wrestlers for that matter, you will be very entertained.

Looks better than any other WWE game... Even today

Remember getting 1 and 2 the day they came out I worked at a mall Remember grabbing and going home my friend was already waiting for me to go to his house we all played for hours good times

Day of reckoning series was always the best WWE series to me

Edge is a beast for having 3 entrance themes in 2004.

KingJoker wwf attitude is the most over rated game in wrestling games history, it only gets respect to this day because of the wwf attitude era in general and nothing else, nobody gives a shit about ecw hardcore revolution, or ecw anarchy rulz because they were shit games that revolved around combinations for moves and stupid energy bars, wwf attitude like i said only gets credit because of the attitude era in general and nothing else, i always see people saying wwf attitude was better than wcw mayhem aswell, i personally think wcw mayhem is the most under rated game in wrestling games history, it was so much better than wwf attitude in almost every way i can think of

Wrestling Games Fanatic84 No Mercy is the most overrated of all time. DoR has damn near everything No Mercy had in terms of gameplay and the CAW mode is FAR better than all those games that idiot snakeyes1985 mentioned and even a better caw mode than it's sister game SVR. WWF attitude was the worst damn wrestling game I ever played, I even thought that way back when the shit was new and I still think that now.

***** DoR 2 was cool, only thing I hated about that game was the long load times. Overall it was a good sequel. I agree about WM 2000 though, just more lackluster copy and paste BS. AKI made great games, but they did have their shitty ones. No Mercy wasn't a bad game, it's one of the greatest WWF/E games of all time but it sure as hell isn't the absolute best.
