    Roger is one of the most genuinely nice guys in the top-end of raiding. Magnificently little ego from someone who's been at the bleeding edge for longer than pretty much anyone. I'll always stan for Roger.

    @@chalupamatej I don't think there is no money in it. Enough people are waiting for the legacy videos that this would be a prime reason to get patreon subscription to see it early. been some time since this video released, but the seigecrafter fight lol, there was some truely funny cheese you could do there, right on the corner of the platform there was a little notch where if you stood down inside it, the saw blade thing would just disappear through the floor so what you could do is to have everyone in melee range, and have one ranged stand on that pot and just delete the entire mechanic. funny boss, never used that exploit in a fight, but me and a couple of mates did use it and another exploit to almost 3 man that fight on heroic before mythic was released ofc, basically the trick to get onto the conveyor belt by jumping and doing the hunter thing also allowed you to get out of the arena and range tank the boss without taking damage, so with 3 people, you could do that fight with almost no damage taken and no difficult mechanics left to deal with which is funny. never got a kill that way, because exploiting is like cheating away the main fun of the game.

On the side of Alliance it was Crusaders of Alliance (with legendary MT Atilla), but when the guild broke up at the end of Vanilla a lot of us went to the Defiance. Afterwards in TBC I joined the Aunans which ended up being the best guild until Wotlk when I left and joined Method. I also remember mid TBC there was a guild I joined for SSC/TK which was supposed to be really good (the name Comaconcilio is what pops in my head, he was a priest), but I had to stop playing WoW for 8 months for my last year of high school exams. • @zenspeed404

    @zenspeed404

    Yeah, those issues were down to the leadership. It's the same as any other job: if there're problem with someone and management says they've got it covered, you get over your unease about the situation, convince yourself management really did take care of the problem, and get on with doing your job. That's just human nature. Look at it from a workplace perspective: we all have to put up with the shitty co-worker, we all have to hope management does something because we're there to do our jobs, not to manage people, we're all disappointed when the shit co-worker doesn't change, but we need the money, it's not easy finding another job, so we put our heads down, put up with it, and hope it's not as bad as we think it is. Then it literally turns into the Missing Stair problem: easy to deal with when everyone knows it's (not) there, but an absolute shocker for someone who doesn't. Like raiders want to do raiding things and want to do it at the highest level - at the time, Method was THE dominant guild not in Europe, but the world. For a WOW nerd and raider, that's where they wanted to be. They don't want to change guilds, they don't want to rock the boat (much less sink it), they don't want to worry about logistics, they want to be competitive, they want to be in a team of equally competent and obsessed raiders, they want to be World First, and if there's a problem, it's Sco's problem, not theirs. Blaming the raiders for stuff that happened at Method is like accusing Chik Fil-A employees of being homophobes just because they work there. Gutless? Sure, why not. Enabler? Doubtful. At worst, he willfully ignored the problem until it got too big to deal with, but it's certainly not his fault that the problem remained there in the first place.
