Well...big ups to Caity for using this Comic Con to repeatedly state for the record how pissed she is they killed off her play sister.

Guggenheim's response to even actor Caity Lotz wanting to get Laurel back is "get over it, it was six months ago" speaks volumes about his respect for DC's legacy characters while his made-for-tv characters (Felicity etc) practically run these shows. I hope Guggy is NOT able to destroy Supergirl.

I dunno..if this season of supergirl is as lazily plotted as allot of season 1 (with the kara/jimmy/lucy disaster triangle..the entire non/astra storyline and the entire season finale) we are in for allot of trouble!.

No Marc Guggenheim you;re just a terrible writer and showrunner, you don't get comics. You also never did justice to Black Canary. It's really quite pathetic how you treats fans of Green Arrow and Black Canary, yet suck up big time to Olicity fans. Just appalling!! And fans are with you Caity, we are still mad over Laurel's death - time will never heal that wound!

I agree. I also hate that Guggenheim gets all the blame and hate when he is not the only one in charge and the others big bosses obviously agreed. Anyway Sara Lance is much better than laurel!!

this show is lame. the way they all laugh about an actor on one of these shows just being kicked off and treated like garbage doesn't raise red flags to them? they don't see that if a true legend like THE BLACK CANARY can be kille doff then all of their d list characters can too? they don't see that marc doesn't care about them? luckily Katie Cassidy is a professional that has worked with the CW for years and has earned respect from them that she got a bigger role on CW's dctv, but look at ciara and hawkman just tossed aside like they're nothing.

I understand Guggenheim, he must be tired of being always held responsible for Laurel's death. I mean, of course he has a part in it, but it's not like he's the only person to be in charge. We don't know what happen in these high spheres. Laurel had to die, her storyline was going nowhere because the writers never know what to do with her since the introduction of Felicity. Let it go. Hopefully a better version of BC will be created in the future.

That's what he got for killing a character that was NOT supposed to be killed. Nobody wanted a death arc on arrow, that was a desperate plot twist for the show and it wasn't even planned. Marc himself said that it was for the shock value. Laurel didn't even died in a heroic way, her last words were about Felicity (!) the show suffer from a gigantic viewer drop after she was killed so yeah, he IS the one to blame.

Also she could have easily been added to legends if she had no place in arrow like what are reasons. Was it the actress though? She wanted to leave ?
