I forgot to tags these guys in the title, so I have added the to the desciption to give them the credit they deserve. This is a good run, I just disagree with determined. I have also spoken with Psystylez on his video and expressed my concern, which revolves around Glitchless Speed Running in general. The rules for this change depending on what community you are in, however, in the larger more well knwon communities, such as Vrooom, the use of Pre Stacking and Determined are not allowed in Glitchless runs, so this is ground for an Immediate Disqualification. This is still a very good run so please be respectful of the time and effort they put into this achievement!

I learned many things especially about math in this game, from your videos! And the emp sticky on choppers, it's for hollow-point ammo. I know ongoing is not efficient for headhunter, but I need the ammo to maintain stacks with this build.

Hey, cheers man. Yeah I guess I was not as familiar with some of the rules from the rest of the speed run community as I thought I was. Glad you enjoyed the run though! 💪 we have a new true glitch-less one with no determined or pre stacking very soon! And for anyone curious on how we skipped those two choppers and back door… you just have to kill all of the ads inside the gate before it opens.

i think they are trying to figure stuff out on their own and it's good on them for doing that, instead of looking through other speedrunning videos and replicating them to try to beat the times with better efficiency. which accounts for the current pivoting around determined at this stage of their figuring out. good job good run, for what it is!

Watched this and ran legendary tidal countless times I thought something was up at the 12 min mark as there is usually way more enemies spawning at that part thanks for confirming it.

try to be more positive. they thought and tried something different, messy/glitchless or not, and it cleared worked. this is better than 99% of the people in this game could ever do

EMP at 10:40 or so I thought was meant to be carried down by the guy and then detonated at ground level (something I've seen used by Hutchler/German bloke IIRC) for the dogs but he blows early. The worst thing about the use of Determined itself is that he is actually a good player and the time is nothing to be sniffed at considering console. Lol at the glitchless/WR claim though. Ballsy.

Yes, though this is can also only be done by the CC player running Creeping Death, and it is done to stop the Sniper Warhound getting somewhere weird and killing everyone.

I mean I would argue that skip exploit is just an unintended mechanic in the mission as well as determined and neither are glitches. Nothing will change my mind. But In the eyes of most the soeedrun community it counts as one.

at boss encounter he struggled to even get determined up, if he breaks the chunga helmet he needs to get determined back up and by the time the whole boss encounter is done LOL. im on the same boat with this determined crap, i mean if you are playing solo or with a grp wo doesnt want to kill things its fine but its the most braindead and boring thing to encounter especially when doing legendary missions with randoms. i always leave if i see determined, the biggest issue is they only kill trash mobs, the dont waste the determined procc on dogs,chungas or whatever.... i hate it so much^^ decent run but nothing special

Annoyingly, in terms of "Determined" runs, this is just slightly above average. Now imagine if "The Crazy Germans" ran Determined. Not trying to take this achievement away from them, but you do have to concider that Determined is a HUGE factor in runs like this. . .

Why would Determined be considered a glitch anywhere? Perfectly Determined even says the talent won't rearm itself, so regular Determined obviously works as intended.

Actually, it’s not as bad as it looks from her POV, we can do this boss area about 90% of the time just like this very fast.

The issue with determined, isn't that it's a bad talent in the sense that it doesn't do much damage, because you can see from this speedrun that it works very well for that. However, it doesn't work as it should, when you get the initial headshot to proc the talent, the next shot is a guaranteed headshot, except that next shot will proc determined again no matter where you hit and kill the enemy (like a body shot for example). This combined with headhunter means that you no longer need to aim for headshots, besides the initial kill, and makes the game trivial. So the issue with determined is that it completely removes any skill factor when it comes to aiming, and considering a large part of speedrunning is practice, repetition and skill, which determined negates, it is not considered 'glitchless'. I hope I explained that well enough

Another interesting thing, the console version of this game, the ads don't jink their heads or bodies. I don't know why he's using determined. Well, in a way I do. Thanks for the vid Dod.

I have heard so many interesting things about the game in regards to Console Vs PC. I find it quite interesting to be perfectly honest, though I do take everything with a pinch of salt, as if there is a difference, which I personally do not believe, but, if there is. It should 100% not be a thing.

I was using his build advice and was particularly interested in a marksman rifle build of his. I noticed when watching his demo of the build, hey, they don't move their heads, they walk right up to him straight on! I came to the conclusion PC Division players should not use Console Division player build advice.

Marcostyle tested this theory before and found that the game is harder to play on console. In fact, enemies duck, dive, and roll more frequently on the console version.

They jerk the head violently for sure sometime. Atleast open world. Game is harder on console in general, worse hit reg as well. PC NPCS are more docile upon entering an area, wheras console NPCS will chase you more aggressively. Some weapons that are lasers on PC has strong horizontal recoil on console.

Maybe im not in the most meta circles but isnt determined a legit talent in the game? Idk. Didnt know determined was frowned upon.

Thi is 100% dependant on who you ask. In the PC, End game circles. Determined is an immedaite DQ. No one cares about your feelings, you used Determined, you are out of the running, your time does not count. Some Console players also subscribe to this notion, though again, these are typically only those that follow the VROOOM set of rules, which, although the majority within speed running, it is certainly not all. It has also been shown/confirmed, 3 seperate times, that Determined is a bug. To put it simply, Determined is THE MOST Contested Talent in the game. many players love it, many hate it. Within the more respected areas of Speed Runnining it is just straight up illegal.

In my opinion, the skip we did is hardly a glitch as it’s just a broken mechanic. You kill all of the adds too fast inside the gate, you skip two choppers and the back door. 🤷‍♂️ people use to always run past enemies outside hovercraft and only kill inside cuz you could skip all of them and it was counted as glitchless so that’s why. Also, as far as I know we are the 2nd fastest team on tidal overall aside from the 13 min run who glitched every chopper out, and currently the fastest on all platforms since the leaderboard reset so wouldn’t that make it a world record?

He is not a good determined player. he can shoot dogs and not lose stacks. he can break the chunga and shoot the chunga in head to regain stacks. You might not agree with determined but not having to worry about 80% of the ads is a good thing. leave the determined player cook. you have 3 other players to do everything else. thats a good trade.

For our Strat, we intentionally let the determined player only worry about killing adds so they keep their stacks and they kill them faster then us anyway, we only worry about the heavies and robotics/heavy choppers.

So boring with determined. Rest of the team have no fun from that.

That build makes no sense for me atleast.. with that talent on a marksman rifle why 🤔

Determined is meh.

Crazy thing is when they reworked determined, as broke as it was, it was closer to what its meant to be. I couldn’t believe when they said eff it and just went back to it being this. It really is lamely boring and is more of a global event concept than a division talent lol

Anhonest player subscribe only other hook_em honest creators as it's not all about this build shreads it's about learning how to build information

A lot of videos like this as soon as I see determined I lose interest.
