Whooooo, always nice when i get a little shoutout in one of your videos! The other aspect of his chosen talents i find funny is that if for some reason he didnt want to run pummel, flatline, in sync, or fast hands; optimist is actually much more synergistic with the mechanics of a shotgun, especially varieties reloading by the shell, than it is with an AR. The limited ammo capacity of shotguns translates into each shot fired cranking the damage gain up quite a bit. On the super 90 specifically, you'd gain 3.75% weapon damage per round, including the first, as opposed to the 0.6% you'd receive on a 50 round AR. The large discrepancy in the discrete, step wise, value gain per round expended of small capacity weapons will actually give optimist better overall performance than on larger capacity weapons. On the super 90, the 4th shot will give you 15% increased damage, meaning that 4-8, or 62% of your "mag" will be at 50% or greater of the full potential damage that optimist can provide. This will actually give you 16.8% increased damage on average over all 8 rounds. Optimist also, of course, actually benefits from the single round reload mechanic on this shotgun as when you reload in the heat of battle you retain the damage bonus for all rounds you dont have time to jam in before you resume firing. It would actually be possible, if perhaps ill advised, to have 100% uptime on the full 30% bonus from optimist using the super 90

im not a fan of most build guide youtubers tbh. most of them dont know what they ae doing, he is really a nice person but thats it, its not like he is absolutely clueless but in most cases he is doing what most "build guide youtubers" do, putting stuff together that has some kind of synergy perk/talent wise and thats it, ofc it somewhat works but it doesnt mean its good. i really feel a little bit bad for him becuase like i said, he as a person is a pretty nice guy. but thats how youtube works, clicks are money.

@@PsYcO9iKiLl9YaH I would have to argue against the "nice person" considering a group of very notable players took him through the Incursion to explain the difference between certain mechanics and he straight up falsified it, twisted it to give himself content. This is not something a "nice person" does. He wasted the time of 4 other people, twisted the narative, lied on repeat, and publicised it all affecting the perception of those players involved all in the name of click. I am still waiting for his apology video.

I had so many things to say about his choices. When I say he picked the Maxim (instead of the TDI Kard Custom with the +1 tier), my brain just froze. I couldn't. I just couldn't.

I think the explosive damaged was possibly intended for the skills as they do both have explosive damage and with the longer cool downs perhaps but this is pure speculation

He has no skills that take effect from Explosive damage.

This seems to be one of those build videos were He likes it and tries to justify / explain it to unsuspecting viewer why He likes it, so you should like it too.

He doesn't understand how the amplified damage multiplier works, so we get a build like this. Watching him in the range... I feel like he's dropping shots while trying to determine DPS shooting at the target around the 12:20 mark. It's all just messy. I guess whatever floats your boat.

If I inspected a players build and saw this all un optimised not proficient not expertised under max mods,weird non sensicle combination of gear and talents id think I'm not looking into this any further as it's obviously a new player who is using whatever they happen to have, but no it's a content creator that's played the game long enough to have better and know better it's lazy farming and lazy research he seems a nice enough guy I don't know why he does this to himself, mystery to me 👍😀

What if they buff Ninjabike whereas for each specific set Resourceful is active, it gets +5% weapon damage. so 5 different brand sets would give 25% weapon damage or something similar to memento where it gives different buffs every resourceful proc(2 resourceful +Weapon damage, 3 resourceful + Skill damage, 4 resourceful +armor, 5 dttoc)

My first thought when he asked 'What would Kelso use?" was Us. She'd use us, because every time she's been on mission with me I had to do all the work while she made low quality color commentary and pretended she was helping.

I understand the themeatic part of the build, this is why when I expanded on the build, I kept it in theme with what iDentity wanted. You can see this for yourself at 30:55 onwards.

I don't understand where this mish mash of gear pieces came from telling us that this is what kelso is running. If you pay close attention to all of her cutscenes you will se her rocking a PS chest piece, a Picaros holster and a Striker backpack.

Apart from making some of the weakest builds known to man for end game content identity is also one of the worst legendary difficulty players ive ever witnessed it used to make me laugh watching his vids being soo passive

Whew, don't get me started with all that I don't know which than causes me to make choices which undermine and contradict myself😅. Goodness knows I rarely, if ever, in all my 5k shd watch levels, was I really and truly thinking about being optimum, ideal and perfect in my builds. I just like to find many and different ways to kill anything in front on me. But thank goodness for the purists who can always remind me that unless I think of what they already know, its likely, I'm wrong and supremely inefficient in my foolish gameplay....😅

I did not shit on him here at all. Merely showed the lack of understanding. You thinking those numbers are arbitrary just shows you lack up understanding as well. I did not talk down to him, or his content, I did however explain his flawed logic in not using Flatline, his flawed logic in using NBB, and his flawed logic in using Explosive damage on Airburst seeker mine. Considering, even he said, he did "research", despite me liking the idea behind themeatic builds for the purepose of roll play, the build itself is poorly consieved due to lack of knowledge. That is my issue here. I am not disregarding peoples random ways of having fun, I am trying to inform them of how things work so that they can have fun. You very much have the wrong end of the stick here.
