For the time, opportunity and resources Sharath has got he could have done better. He reached QF by fluke. In an interview he himself said he did not expect to reach QF. Lets consider the QF match he gave away too many points that he could have got. He was not playing to win. He was just content.

Do you have eyes? The sloopy way he played this match is enough example, just got out of sleep and played match. I have done enough in my life to identify such people who are good for nothing. His reaching of quarter final was a fluke, because of him next generation good players are not getting chance. If you look at his timeline, he has played for more than 15 years but didn't even reach top 25 ever.
