@@BerserkerDwarf Yeah, the problem is that if he does manage to win then his next opponent could be in the top 5, the top 3, or worse yet a super fight. So, it is potentially a no win situation for him no matter what happens.

@@dragonslayer2107 it's been a while since i've actually played an EA UFC game and even longer since i've done a career mode on such a game, but i recall that your opponents (i think on EA UFC 2) scaled not only in difficulty but also stats so you'd not only face a cracked mcgregor but you'd be facing a 99 overall beast of a fighter on top even if EA UFC 4 doesn't do stat scaling, the input reads and other bullshit the AI pulls makes it about as bad - long story short, MM would have to actually be a god to go undefeated using primarily striking and minimal cheese

Thats what im saying. As a new player, this is insane. I cant imagine lasting 1 round on this difficulty.

Martial's reaction speed is insane. I would've eaten 90% of the shots that he just blocks and dodges with ease.

Cartwheel kick, spinning back fist, Superman punch are good moves to upgrade to help get Evolution points fast especially if you’re able to prestige one that’s like 125 evolution points each.

Another way is upgrading submissions. Both the wrestling and jujitsu coaches have goals that make the AI sparring partner immediately take you down for easy submissions. All you got to do is press right on the thumb stick and let them take you down. Then deny the transitions,to drain stamina and get quick submission level ups. I prestige my armbar/rear naked chokes within my first three-four fights as a kickboxer.

If you go to invite fighter and get at least 3 knockdowns before you get the job, you can upgrade the cage flying knee to 4 star in one session, it’s actually broken

@@denen404 i’ve done multiple times but only 1 time on legendary and on lightweight is fun because every fight is hard as fuck, it’s legit the hardest division and you can go up and fight at welterweight which is a fun division as well but its really a challenge some fighters are unbeatable if you go to the ground with the legendary AI they will always found a way to get to that submission and most of the times you’ve getting submitted especially if it is a decent grappler

You always get a NR fighter after you break into top 15. Also ignore what they say about what type of fighter they are. That is just what they started out as. You are better off getting to the point of being able to check out their top moves, to see what type of fighter they really are.

Martial, this series is LIT! Seeing this grind on legendary reminds me a lot of playing Tyson's Punch out as a kid. Every opponent is so different and challenging in their own way; you always show up dude and adapt so well. Continue on, I hope you stay undefeated, whatever the outcome, the content is second to none and always top notch.

Pure extasy! LOve these series! No need to add a lot of moves. But try to master 5 star to all of your favorite ones. What I would do is sparring with some of the figters and spam those moves to make them 5 stars. Also it gives me more evolution points so I get stronger faster : )

I would love to see a career mode where you start as a jiu jitsu competitor, wrestler, kick-boxer or boxer and make a transition to mma or other sports. It’d make a fun replayable experience that helps develop the controls.

I wish this series is already completed man. So i don't have to wait for the next episode and just watch it all in one go 😂

The more difficult ai can be ridiculous like sometimes they just become a leg check master and perfect stay outta rage or counter I swear

You could learn the Question Mark kick, or the Switch kick to the body. These would come in handy I suppose. Or even the beautiful snap jab, or/and McGregor's celtic cross.

Hey Martial, really enjoying this series. Just wanted to let you know you can get a good amount of evolution points if you go to invite a fighter and practice your moves there. If it's a move you want you could get the damage points up in the first minute and just practice your other moves for like 4 minutes. Then just hit your opponent one more time to learn it.

I find that dealing with the unfair legendary AI ground game is easier when you have some ground based perks, starting as jiu jitsu and improving my stand up has only proved success for me

Honestly it isn't a loss I enjoy seeing, it is you being pushed to your limits. Your body language, attitude, frustration in that 2nd game mimics the average player. It shows that while you are extremely skilled even you can be tested. No other way to make a master sword than to temper it as they say

You could literally get all stamina related perks. The one that improves stamina rounds 1-2, the recharge perk that gives you more stamina each round. Career mode is the only mode where you can equip the Round 1-2 and 3-5 stamina perks + recharge on a fighter.

Great series so far, I think you would benefit from touching the body a bit more often, maybe try throwing a jab up top and a straight to the body, that's my favourite combo in the career mode. Also feint more, you need to feint since the AI tends to read the initial input of the strike, like the jab feint leg kick works wonders on the AI

This series is pretty Dope and yeah the legendary AI is crazy I’ve gotten stuck on most of my career mode because of how hard they are it’s like you gotta play perfect and patience or your fucked.

I think that if you sit back too much and let the AI get going, it makes it way harder. Sometimes you have to blitz them. Only gamble is gassing if you don't finish.
