Hi everyone! So a couple of things with this video: (1) Do I think you should get the bundle? I'd only recommend it if you want one of the starships on multiple characters (trait/console/to fly it) or if you will want to fly both of these starships. As noted in the video, there are cheaper alternatives in the game from the fleet and/or 3k zen starships that can give you most of what these ships both offer in current STO. (2) I didn't go over the traits/consoles that come in the bundle, nor the intricacies of the "fluff" in the bundle. Due to this bundle releasing stats on the same day it was accessible to players, others in the community have already covered these at length on what is good/bad in the current meta. Considering the other things I wanted to cover in this video, I covered that instead. (3) I was using my old headset from a few years ago instead of my normal microphone (the same headset I used while leading teams to process data during the pandemic). As thus, I had to crank up the volume so it wasn't super quiet -- which meant there is more static in the audio of this video as a result. With how infrequent I do videos nowadays, it didn't feel worth it to me to bring my audio setup out of storage and set it up. (4) Alongside the above, for those of you that paid attention may notice that I was both tired & sick while recording this. I am doing ok, I just had a lot of other work & stress on my plate + trying to fit this video into my schedule -- and it barely made it into my Sunday schedule (due to normal stuff this past Saturday being cancelled giving me this slim opportunity). (5) Will I make more videos in the future? Maybe. At this point, if I did more videos, the next two videos would be: (A) Needed Legendary Starships -- a video going over the starships that need to get T6 & legendary versions + the starships & generally expect Cryptic to make over the next 48 months or so. If I did this, this would probably be a January video. (B) Solasta Subjective Guide v2 -- a video going over the upcoming "final" version of the Subjective Guide to Solasta in a pdf book format (akin to those D&D pdf books you can buy/read); that game had its final DLC earlier this year, but due to stuff IRL I haven't finished all I have wanted to with it just yet (there's also a size issue with my GoogleSlides that I need to resolve eventually as well...). Whenever I finally get that completed, I'll probably do a stream going over everything available to players.

Just to point out the stat typo, that the Legendary Sovereign is a 4/4 weapons layout not 5/3, as you have in the slide. We actually don't have a 5/3 Sovereign in game, but we have three 5/3 Galaxy's (Ledged Gal-X, Cygnus, World Razor). Which seems odd to be without it as on screen the Sovereign is more tactically capable & in game is an "Assault Cruiser". Fingers crossed for a 5/3 Sovereign in the 14th anni, I was hoping for one in the 13th but seems the Sirius took that spot, when we already had a Galaxy in the 12th & the World Razor not too long before (shrugs out of confusion in Cryptic's choices).

Please continue making videos, even if it's infrequent, I enjoy the style of your videos, which is quite unique among STO KZreadrs.

Im annoyed that that reason they gave for L-Borta being a battlecruiser was "because the old Borta is one". We could have had a Juggernaut Borta.....or that they didn't know players were asking for a hangar slot on it because....the other two factions' flagships have one!

Never really understood the logic behind the epic tokens to only unlock an event ship for a single character. Currently epic tokens are extermely rare, so with the current drop rate, the epic token should replicate the event account wide unlock. If the drop rate for epic tokens where increased i could see this being a single character unlock.

I'll second that, i had a lot of luck & have a few in my bank but i dont intend to spend them, exactly for the reason you mentioned. If its aint an acc unlock i am really afraid to spend them when i might need one for a thematic build on a new toon...

The Terran Eagle probably got a Cloak because the T5 Aquarius was able to use the Cloaking device console off the Defiant and Gal-X. The Adamant also got a Battle Cloak and they are probably just holding serve with the approach that the Terrans would take advantage of that tech.

The Legendary Bortasqu' has almost the same seating and console slots as the regular Inquiry-class. It's kind of like back when they used to release a Fed/KDF/Romulan version of C-Store ships.
