On this episode of MYG I visit the iconic “Bar Basso” in Milan where the Negroni Sbagliato was first created and find out it was not a mistake. Mirko Stocchetto who invented the drink chose to put prosecco in it and call it a mistake.
The Bar Basso is very important because it made the aperitivo drink accessible to anybody.

I’m listing the proportions here based off what I feel is happening in the video:
Add ice to a gigantic glass and put and wedge and orange wheel into the side. Add 2 oz (60 ml); 1.5 oz (45ml) Cinzano Sweet Vermouth; 1.5 oz (45ml) Cinzano Prosecco.
Stir and serve.
