Always thought the Mickey Mouse themed Sega games looked absolutely gorgeous. I was a Sega boy and had World of Illusion and Castle of Illusion on the MD. CoI was the first game I ever completed on that console. Unfortunately never had Legend of Illusion on the Game Gear but you have made me want to find a copy now :) Great video!

Haha cheers, that's an issue I have everyday with twitter and KZread, seeing games I now want 😂. Yea 100% Disney games looked and a lot still do look gorgeous from this era 😍

Ive been buying lots of game gear lately , Right now I'm playing through "Land of Illusion" Its brilliant .

I just collected a Refurbished game gear with all the works! Loads of Carts , new (old stock game) gear bag , super wide gear . Etc.. I LOVE it . there's something magical about the way it creates a tiny world for you. I had one as a kid but never so many games or the rechargeable batteries I have today. glad I found your channel , Cheers ,Liked, Subscribed

Appreciate that. That's an awesome story, I feel that way with a lot of consoles, it still fascinates me what they were able to do with the handhelds especially. I'll be sure to cover more GG games in the future as well

I'm playing "Land Of Illusion "now on game gear. It's brilliant. BUT is there any way to save? Ive left my game gear ON for 3 days now .

There are only a handful of games on the GG that you can save and unfortunately this isn't one of them to my knowledge.

@@BudgetNostalgia The only game i remember having a save system on the cart was Defenders of Oasis . Some had a code system I remember as well. Still its amazing what they were able to do with this little machine 30 years ago
