Legazpi, officially known as the City of Legazpi, is a 1st class component city and capital of the province of Albay, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 209,533. Legazpi is the regional center and largest city of the Bicol Region, in terms of population.
Naga, officially known as the City of Naga or the Pilgrim City of Naga, is a 1st class independent component city in the Bicol Region of the Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 209,170 people. The town was established in 1575 by order of Spanish Governor-General Francisco de Sande.

Madami na po pagbabago sa Naga now marami na highrise building and Condo Malapit na siya maging highly Urbanized City because of the huge realestate and Township development within the city first in Bicol na magkaroon ng township only in Naga and 3 township pa, that is Santerra by Vista Estates, Naga global business Park and BBM township.. and ilalagay sa Naga ngayon itong 6 towers 25 storey each the highest tower in Bicol plus the SEZ special economic zone ilalagay sa Carolina NAGA approved na ito ni BBM another huge developments for Naga.. and also Falafox have a huge urban planning for Naga right now Pag Sasama samahin na Ang mga katabing municipalities ng Naga which is the town of Canaman, bombon, Calabanga,Milaor,Camaligan,Minalabac,Pili,Libmanan and san fernando mag me merge na Sila sa Naga at gagawing Metro Naga the Biggest Metropolis in Bicol this is a huge Metropolitan in Southern Luzon.. BOTH are good.. i think Naga City deserve to be Highly Urbanized unfortunately population growth in Bicol is so LOW. Family planning and population control is ruining ur chance to become HUC. Only Metro Manila and Metro Cebu, CDO, Iloilo City, Zamboanga City, GenSan, Bacolod, Angeles, Baguio & Davao City is populated the rest of Philippines is ghost town.. Thats why Indonesia is thriving fast economy in Asia its because of huge population growth.

Bicolanos still go to Metro Manila to work lol. You can't be a highly urbanized city if ur population is below the average requirement is 300,000+

@@dragoslavdelavega558 mataas na population ng NAGA kaya nga nag submit na Ang city hall ng Naga for HUC NASA news pa Yan dito sa Bicol binalita pa Yan na nag apply na Ang Naga for HUC hinihintay nlng ang approval.. ang good news naman approved na Ang SEZ 10,000 jobs ang Darating sa Naga binalita na Yan dito sa mga media sa Bicol hehe updated po Ako

hehhehe galing ako last week sa legaspi po oo malinis nga po dming palstik nagkalat at mga kinainan iniiwan sa plaza even sa cenctro palengke malinis lang yng boulevard ilingon sa gabi kadakol nag uurudo nawawarana sana pag hightide na dagat buli malinig ang naga city naka arrange mga bagay at may mga maayos na baurahan naka sefrate mga nabubulog sa di nabubulok sa buong naga laluna sa naga public marker at sa 2 plaza

Lahat naman ng city may improvement, kasi every year lumalaki population...pero for Lucena, parang di naman ganun kalaki improvement...meron, pero parang same pa din...dumadaan kami jan lagi before, konti lang naman nabago.

Buti sinabi mo na shet at pota ang city niyo. Our town Pili (469 Million PHP) and Calabanga (383 million PHP) is catching up with Daraga in Income and soon Canaman the 4th most improved municipality in the Philippines in 3rd to 4th class and Camaligan the most competitive 5th to 6th class municipality in Bicol.

Legaspi is the Regional Center of Bicol Region. Legaspi is more beautiful because of Mt. Mayon and it's a coastal City. Naga on the other hand is landlocked. But the advantage of Naga is the wide area for future developments and it's closer to Manila.

True. Legazpi is beautiful. It's better to turn it into a tourist city than a commercial/industrial city. Naga on the other hand has satellite towns which can be transformed into Industrial or commercial areas (Milaor, Pili, Canaman especially)
