You forgot to turn on the programmer art resource pack to get the TRUE console experience. Also imagine how trippy this would get by adding the Aether mod when it's gonna be available for the same version this mod is on.

I reccoment ReConsole. It packs a bunch of mods that give you the TRUE TRUE console experience. Basically transforms the game to console. It also auto adds a texture pack that changes even new textures to classic minecraft.

There's also a modpack called Re-Console that adds a few more features like old limited world sizes, pre 1.9 attacking, and includes all the tutorial worlds.

You should transfer your bedrock world (if you have one) to Java Edition, it’ll be a cool experience with this new mod , you can also transfer worlds with new stuff back to Xbox One/360 Editions now. The community has done so much and it’s amazing to see.

I have a 360 disc and Xbox one disc... and do still have the beginning worlds but I am missing Stampylongnose and the castle with the bridge... I wish I could get them.. my first world the gateway would lead to a castle to the right was the animal pen and to the left was a minecart with rails then to the left of it was a village. I think it was tu11 not surperflats, we were able to change each level and made sky block.

If you ever come back to this, you should try putting the fullscreen resolution on 720p and restarting the game. It really adds to the experience, and fixes all of the stray lines in the GUI

it's possible to have no lines on higher res than 720p. Just tweak your interface resolution settings.

This could be perfectly an alternative universe where Minecraft bedrock doesnt exist and we are all happy without microtransactions in minecraft

i’m so glad that ppl have done this, ion crisxolt was working on 4j ui for bedrock but bedrock is more difficult to work on for ui

Never played that version of MINECRAFT, it looks so old school classy.

I remember back in mid 2014, I encountered EckoXSoldier back then. Waking up every morning for school to play on my Xbox, watching Ecko live stream his old lets play on KZreadr, building his great wall of subscribers and such. I still remember to this that I would regain interests in minecraft after the update when they added the new stone blocks

Truly nostalgic and amazing this takes me back.

I recently found out on my other xbox account i synced some old worlds and a tutorial world popped up with the elytra course. Pretty stoked that it popped up. While yes, i did play the orginal tutorial worlds too

this is the best mod ive ever seen i could cry haha thank you for making a video on it! I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A SERIES ON IT!! i also think they should add the mod that brings back old combat as well!

It’s cool to see as this is how the current legacy console edition would look like today if bedrock never released. I was always fascinated with how 4j would incorporate all the new crafting items into the crafting table and this gives us that look. Also imagine tbe tutorial world

I think it’s good to say that 2024 is the year of Minecraft nostalgia, and I’m excited to see what’s going to come in the future!

Hi! I'm the lead maintainer of LEM (the minigame remake you mentioned) and I'd like to mention a few things LEM is not associated with L4J (It currently breaks with it) but there are talks internally on fixing issues and potentially having better integration. LEM would still be its own independent thing though The other two gamemodes (Tumble and Glide) are currently in development, so it won't just always be Battle in the future Its worth mentioning _why_ LEM is invite only, its mainly because of cheaters at the moment and us needing to work on creating tools to be able to handle them efficiently. I've also noticed that you never sent an invite request, if you want to get access I'd be willing to add you and talk about its history if you're interested Its absolutely insane to me to see you even remotely mention LEM in any capacity, Its really appreciated! Let me know if you have any questions you'd want answered

I wish someone would release all the old legacy edition tutorial worlds on the bedrock marketplace so we can play them again

My heart bleeds for the attention to detail these modmakers used to replicate the legacy console ui, sounds, and graphics, while still keeping the up to date features in current java edition

Try the new addon telelanterns, it's really cool, try it out in the next video, maybe tomorrow.

This mod and the reconsole modpack are my favorites :3

Careful with certain servers, Legacy4j modifies a lot and has a bit of conflict with some anti-cheats sometimes. Should be fine for joining casual servers that don’t have the need for anti-cheat though.

There were already versions of these made for Bedrock years ago ever since 2019. It's called Console Aspects and 4JUI. Console Aspects recreates the look and 4JUI recreates the UI. It still works on the modern versions.

You can play the old version if you have it to your device, I still sometimes play it with my xbox360. But for pc mod this thing is awesome

I played PS4 edition then PS3 and PS Vita and never changed gamma, always at 50%

I can just change my editions on my ps5 is this not common?

The crafting table UI won’t work on servers.

When I try to load it it loads the game but before the window can completely open it just dies and turns off. It worked before, but now it’s not. 🙁
