I encourage criticism of all religious beliefs. Why should religion have a special pass in the search for facts and scientifically based evidence?

+Paul Temple It's incredibly naive to think that christianity, judaism, and islam have the same god. Some of them use the same word for 'god', but they are not referring to the same imaginary being. Jews aren't referring to a god who already sent a messiah, or to a god who sent his last messenger muhammad. Christians aren't referring to a god who a god who hasn't sent a messiah,or a god who refutes the divinity of jesus. Muslims aren't referring to a god who thinks the Jews are the chosen people, or a god who equates jesus with god. They are not the same. Their gods aren't even the same within each religion. This is not incomprehensible if you understand anything about these religions.

AKA Nathan I'm for equal criticisms as well; however, I do note an interesting aspect of islamism that have been removed from Christianity and Judaism and that is it's militalism which I don't think should gain peaceful islamist threat or condemnation, but the faction of terror that is imbedded in some islamic communities is an absolute threat to western interest which I think bares weight on why one would choose to criticize.

Over 1 billion people believe that the quran is 100% the word of the creator of the universe. Calling people bigots for criticizing a set of ideas in a book that people believe to be true doesn't work anymore. You're uninformed. Move to Germany if you like islam so much. Let your daughter travel alone in any islamic country if you love islam so much. Organize a gay pride parade in any islamic country if you love islam so much. Don't put others at risk because of your ignorance, put your own life at risk first if you think you're right. The truth is that you've been shown to be wrong and you can't face facts so you resort to pointing and screaming 'bigot!' You're a coward.

You can criticize atheism all day long if you want to. In fact, atheism holds a somewhat bad stereotype and is very often criticized indeed.
