Hi I am from the UK and have Pakistani parents. When I left Islam 11 years ago I thought I was the only person on the planet to do so. Now there are so many people who I know have left Islam. I hope you stay safe and are able to make it out of Morocco. Ex-Muslims living in the Muslim world like you are true heroes!

ever since i left religion it felt like hell on earth to wake up everyday to such a reality in morocco, life to me right now is merely counting the days and hoping one day i'll be able to escape somewhere better and build a good life for myself

thats not true. In Morocco a muslim cant leave islam and convert to another religion. Yes there are some churches but they are for "foreigners", a residual remember from colonial time. In public school you must to learn islam its mandatory . If you dont want it you have to go to a private school(french,spanish,american...). There is not freedom of choice.Ramadan is also mandatory by law for every muslim you can not choice if you dont want to fast.There is not separation between mosque and law. Youy cant do whatever you want. I think you dont understand what freedom is.

Farhaan Ali Bro Quran does say it.But involves only for people who really understood Islam and left it because of personal agenda or something else but if he left it due to some misunderstanding of Islam he is should not be killed. This is why there are madrasa to teach Muslim children true Islam. The once who haven’t got them misunderstand Islam due to news and media spreading misinterpreted information or fake news.

So you are one of those that preach tolerance however is the first to call someone a name if you disagree with what they are saying. Typical liberal. Big hypocrits. Have you not studied sharia law? My step dad is Lebanese. If you think islam and sharia law is accepting and tolerant, you definitely have been drinking to much liberal kool-aid. I laugh everytime a liberal preaches islam tolerance. They don't even know they are protecting a religion that is based on intolerance. They think all muslims are like these fake American born muslims. Try going to the middle east and hanging out with muslims that follow and live under sharia law. Liberals would be the first ones killed or put in prison. How can the left be so stupid?
