The meaning is about chasing your dreams. In true Pink Floyd fashion, they don't sugar coat it. It's dangerous, you're going to hurt, you're going to have a hard time of it. But nothing compares to the moments when you actually have some success. Reread the lyrics knowing that and you'll understand the song a lot better.

"Childhood's End" is a good one as well. It's not requested like the rest seem to be but I think people are missing out lyrically. Their solo careers are equally amazing. I hope everyone has had a great week so far. -Amber

Ok slept on it and I decided that you must do all Pink Floyd! It's too difficult to decide which ones so all it must be. My favorite is "echoes", and then perhaps, "sorrow". Anything will do though. "Us and them" I thought you had done, but maybe not. So then "Us and them"! Oh yes, "On the Turning Away"! Lol First to me is "Echoes". It's so difficult to choose the rest. Lol. I love pink Floyd and this is by far one of my favourite tracks . The guitar sounds so perfect after the chorus . So subtle and the whole song is a treat for any real music fan

Hi BizMatiK, I think you know by now that I follow you ;)). I just love your music choices and your comments. Alongside Eric Clapton, David Gilmoure is one of the most soulful guitarists ever. Both simply have that certain something to transport into their guitars - there's just no other way to describe it. I love Pink Floyd and think that their albums should be seen as a total work of art and that's why you just have to listen to them in their entirety - the songs just belong together! But go ahead anyway, I prefer your choice either way. Greetings from hamburg (germany)

I went a few years ago (right before COVID hit) and saw Rodger Waters concert The Wall... You are correct, it's absolutely amazing. He canceled shows during the pandemic (of course), but is back to touring now 👍

Dark Side of the Moon, Echoes and Wish You Were Here are my favorite Pink Floyd albums. A lot of other great songs but I don't listen to those albums in whole like these three.

If pink floyd are the third most impressive band to you who are at one and two, I can’t think of any band above pink floyd.

Me neither- genuinely think Gilmour is the best guitarist to walk the face of the Earth, with many, many people to try him, but Gilmour is non comparable to anyone. Love Floyd, I just did a short on them too

I don't like any Pink Floyd songs past The Wall album with the exception of this one. But they are my second favorite band of all time after the Beatles

Great job not going with the “official video “ it’s kinda weird and imo distracts from the music. 🎼
