As a lefty myself, I don’t think they will! Paul said in an interview he doesn’t like doing lefties (he gave a bunch of half hearted excuses), also if they did I think it might be a bit late, all the lefties I know that wanted one have moved on and gone to other companies who appreciate Left Handers more. I hope I am wrong and they do make some, but If they haven’t made them up to now I don’t think they will, as it take very little effort to flip the template on a CNC machine. That and the SE range are made in the same factory as Chapman, Solar and Schecter (who all already have lefties).

Justin, I've been asking PRS for 5 years (I ask every year) and met with the same negative response. I've bugged 2 reps who are PRS dealers and they also laugh as they've met with the same indifference I receive. I also left a post on Mayer's Instagram when these new colors were announced. I'd buy one right now! GET ON IT PRS!!! I want the expensive model! I'm tired of giving Fender Custom Shop all my money. PLEASE MAKE A LEFTY SILVER SKY! Thx for listening.

I will buy one if they make them. I bought a righty, flipped it and love it. A true lefty Silver Sky would be incredible. But... Paul does not like building left-handed guitars. I remember PRS offered absolutely nothing lefty for the longest time, then they did a miniscule run that was a ridiculous upcharge, then stopped and there was nothing for a spell. If they build it, I will buy it but I'm not holding my breath. There's not enough money in it for PRS.

I don’t know. I met Paul at the crossroads guitar festival last September. I’m a lefty and I spoke to him about making a left handed silver sky and Paul said John calls the shots when it comes to the silver sky and John didn’t want to make any left handed models. He said “why don’t you just flip the strings, Hendrix did it!” I responded.. “IM NOT HENDRIX PAUL!”. And he laughed 😂. He concluded it by saying they wont make one but you never know.

in regards to the other lefty mayer signatures, there’s a few one-off lefty fender signatures out there (i own one), same with the OMJM at least as far as i’ve seen online, been waiting for a lefty silver sky for years now

Tbh it seems like the only real option for lefties is to play a rightie upside down if you want any sort of variety of guitars/basses. Not saying that’s the way it should be, just that as of right now that’s one of the only options for y’all lefties :/

I assume the Lefty Fenders are CS right? I know they did build JM Sigs ordered up to CS spec. Either way that's a really rare guitar

I figure it would probably be a SE short run like the recent lefty SE 24-08 run last year, but who knows really?

We’ll see - and I hope so! But Paul is on record multiple times venting that people asking for Lefty’s never translates into sales volume for him

I would buy a lefty SE Silver Sky so fast. I would sell my white fender player strat without thought. I would try to and get it as soon as it comes out.

You can custom order a lefty OMJM. Martin is really great about doing lefty guitars…. It’s just not a standard offering.

It is weird to not have the SEs at least... Just plain weird... I myself would buy one, even though I already have a Strat. I reckon many more lefties would buy one (or more). The PRS JM sig model is something special and to be able to have it at an affordable price, would mean a lot to us lefties. Hope the speculation turns to facts and facts turn to... lefty guitars.

as a lefty guitar player I'm really upset with the lack of left handed guitar diversity. even if its only about 10% of the guitar playing population, there should be more than what i find in guitar center or any other music store i go to. if it really is 10% of the population, then why, in a store of 300-350 guitars at any given time, are there only 1 or 2 (usually crappy) left handed guitars? one of my biggest gripes with the guitar community

Why the hell would anyone want that damn thing when the original is already made lft handed? Not only is it made left handed, but left handed in about any budget.

I'm a lefty but I'm good on that overpriced strat.
