An extremely rich and heavy episode with Dr. Siddharth Warrier. We spoke about the negative and dark aspects of neuroscience in this one. What happens to someone who is dealing with chronic stress and anxiety? How can hormones affect our neural functioning? Why Do Some People Feel Suicidal? What is the situation when people reach a point of insanity & depression? Why is there an enormous rise in mental health issues? All this and more are answered in the episode.
Siddharth Warrier is an expert neurologist who runs his own podcast and KZread channel from the ABCs of neuroscience to the most complex phenomenon. Subscribe here: / siddharthwarrier

Don't worry about the algorithm buddy. Keep getting smart people who add value to your listener's lives and eventually you'll get the rewards. People listen to Joe Rogan's 3hr+ podcasts as well, so this is completely palatable and even desirable for that sort of listener. Thanks for the good work 🙏

For me being overly empathetic is so much stressful. Like people around me don't give 2 fucks and here I am just thinking there must be some reason why they are like this or why they behave like this.Sometimes it feels like I am just cheating myself by not seeing someone as they are 🙂

Hour of Need!! Hello Ranveer Allahbadia @BeerBiceps, I'm regularly follow you. If you love Hindu Dharma, You should make a separate video/interview on @आचार्य प्रशान्त - Acharya Prashant to introduce his teachings and the real meaning of Dharma and make him help in his mission and his ongoing events "Advaita mahotsav Rishikesh". You have already made videos with Guru Gopal Das and many others. Now it's time to talk with Acharya ji and help him to share his mission. It would be your most eye opening/learning video for both you and us. This would be most blessings for your fans if you introduce acharya ji with us.

One of the best conversation I have heard for self awareness! It has been beautifully put how the chemicals and hormones of our brain represent our personality and behavior. Only when you try to change yourself you realise how difficult it is to do so. After that you would never ever try to change or have unrealistic expectations from anyone. Understand the person and accept him or her. That's it! That will give you ultimate peace.

Gr8 episode. Brain has always been a centre of research since a very long time because that single thing makes you who you are as a person. The whole body reacts to your thinking and just obeys the super master which has the ability to perceive everything the way it wants and not the way it is presented in the world. You get to choose. Last part of the episode was great. I loved what you both discussed. Honest heart to heart conversation. I don't understand the hardware much but the software part of it is something which is difficult for any human being to understand. Cute ❤❤❤

Finished watching this podcast just now & OMG Ranveer, You are just Improving with every single episode !! Keep it up. I've watched the other 2 episodes with Dr. Sid & I'm lacking words to appreciate him. He's making neurology so much interesting & simplified for all of us. I actually never thought it would turn out so interesting. Thank you so much for all the amazing, powerpacked episodes. Also, I would love the podcasts to be long & deep, as you said it's like reading a Book. So, it's fun when an interesting book (like Dr. Sid) lasts longer.

This podcast, as you rightly said, you find the real diamonds in the longer episodes. These kind of conversations, which has answers to the inconsistencies of your own personality, and those around are intriguing. For that matter most of the knowledge and information gaps are filled though your podcasts, as everyone wants to know this, but it is too heavy to read or listen to a book, or listen to a monologue, for that matter, such conversations make most sense, keep you interested, could be easily comprehended and you can connect yourself with so much of it. So much stuff, all for free is awesome.

I think the longer episodes have multiple benefits for everyone as our patience is being tested and also improves our attention span which is getting poorer each and every day all thanks to the reels and short informative content and obviously the deep understanding of the concept is only possible by diving deep into it, keep up the good work , always looking forward to soak these large information packs

"Oh wow...this was one of the synchronicities at it's very best...The mention of Conversations with God, was one of the very first books that I had read before I got out of an emotionally and mentally claustrophobic marriage...I had called it the light to my soul, had even shared it with someone I love dearly.... And then the mention of playing the game--as you and not as Siddharth, brought back my own personal mini conversation with God..where in my head I had this particular conversation with Krishna (of Bhagwadgita), while driving on my way to my work place, and I kind of felt his presence in the seat besides me, smiling cockily...and I said, "What. What makes you smile like that?" and the reply came "You, everything...". I was quite and he asked, "You don't really like me, do you?"...to which I replied, "Well, you are very Chalu"....and pat came the reply, again with that cocky smile. "Ok, Mein chalu hoon, is liye shayad duniya chalu hain"...to which I enquired, "Toh are you saying ki Chalu logo ko wajah se yeh duniya chalu hain ?"; and he said, "Shayad, par kuch toh chalu rehna zaroori hain...tum kya soochti ho is ka haaq tumhara hain aur us sooch ko bhi badalnae ya nahi badalnae ka haaq tumhara hain...". Thinking on that I asked, "Toh Buddha kaun ?"...the answer came with one of the best smiles ever, "Buddh woh jis ko yeh game khelna aa gaya, infinity ke liye". I'm so so delighted to hear words like:- SPECTRUM, NUANCES...and the reinforcement of the fact that most of us are stuck in Black and White thinking...for firstly it's easier and secondly we've also been educated/programmed to think like that. WOW...so profound...that everything negative has a positive side and every positive has a negative..."I personally call it as Counter-balancing forces, which actually makes everything Whole, Integrated and Complete". Love you talking about Yoga Nidra. Would someday love to interact with Dr.Sid Warrior. Thank you for this conversation 😊
