This man seems ageless. One of the comedy greats from the UK.
You can see he appreciates every element of his craft...he doesn't just do laughs he understands how things look to the audience as he's delivering it.Looks like a guy down the wetherspoons but he's an absolute master...thats why he sold out arenas in a time when most other comediens in the UK couldn't sell out a front room.I think his social awkwardness, genuine nervous energy and his ability to get through all that in such spectacular fashion is the gold dust that makes people love him.

The man is a genius so sad he has retired, a really gifted straight actor also.
The humour was always on my level but imagine if you could harness that energy ?!? Solar and Hydroelectric have got nothing ! But more than anything, he loves his family and that’s beautiful. We love you Lee and thank you for making us laugh 🥰
still one of the best comedians to grace us with his presence
Seen him live and was sore by the time show finished. Met him as well and he was an absolute gentleman.
No matter how many times I watch him I still laugh at him and that is true comedy 🎭
what a funny man!! please Lee, come back... we all miss you
Love Lee's comedy. He's a fascinating guy. Sooo funny. Not afraid to show his vulnerability. Must go and see him live some time ((if he's came out of retirement). Have watched most of his videos. Hugely underated comedic talent.

It's called living your life purpose tbh. /dhama (which is not just the what, but also how). A whole other kind of energy flows through. I literally can do what I gotta do, without sleep really, I have the most energy ever, feeling amazing, it's just a matter of knowing how to stop, breathe, realign, carry on. It's the best ever. Then after three days I have a good 8-10 hours sleep, am fine, right back on it. Otherwise I may sleep like 4-5 hours a day if I want, and still - all the energy in the world. Feeling ecstatic. In clarity, aligned. People tend to live in a perceived reality of limitation and obligation, suppressing themselves with whatever, because they're not living their actual calling, and in the way that is their true with, so they're shut off from that communion with the universe and their actual true self, that infinite high frequency energy flow and alignment. Which then results in low energy and manifested illness etc. It's a matter purposeful orientation in ways which correlate with desired experiences and outcomes, ways of being.. It's not a living in a standard way, comprehending in a standard way, type thing. It comes from within. It's magical af :3

@Sam Armstrong Not really. His physical mannerisms are definitely akin to him but Lee's comedy is his own and follows a different track. I suppose at a glance he seems very similar, ironically in the actual facial expressions. But the base of it being physical comedy and that they both are iconic in a somewhat niche field in terms of success, adds to this mis-conception.

Not a lot of people know this, but Lee Evans and Bruce Lee were brothers. Lee Evans went onto become a boxer early on, and Bruce Lee competed at karate. A little known fact! Bruce Lee's surname was actually Evans. (he dropped the Evans when he became famous). Bruce Lee Evan's dad, (Bob Lee Evans) was actually a coal miner in China. The only Welsh born coal miner in the whole country. As such he became a massive celebrity. So famous that he had to fight his way through the crowds of fans at the end of each shift, leaving the mine tunnel. They made him sing a Max Boyce songs, and threw daffodils at him. (I know this because I WAS THERE!) And this lead to him opening his own flower shop, importing DAFFODILS from Wales. He called it 'Dafodills R Us'. He ran the shop during the day, and went down the mines at night. What a work ethic he had. As hard as coal, so he was. Soooooo, when young Bruce was about 5 yrs old, he took him on as his body guard. (The fame thing was getting out of hand with crowds increasing in size daily) And that's where his martial arts career started. Young Bruce did that for about 10 yrs. And as a kid would quite often find himself fighting off 20 or 30 adults at the same time, (sound familiar? Yep that's where his movie scenes ideas came from). He did this so's his dad could rush by and get home for his 10 minute nap before opening the shop each morning. Bob gave himself a lie in on a Sunday when he slept for half an hour. In the end, many years later, tragedy struck the family, when young Bruce overslept one morning for his protection duties. Poor Bob, leaving the mine after his usual night shift, suddenly realised he was on his own. His 14 Yr old son was no where to be seen. Without his sons protection, Bob tried to make a dash for Rick Shaw (his drivers name) but the crowd got him. Lifted him high up on their shoulders (about 4 ft) and carried him away. And they didn't stop. He was such a huge star, they carried him all around the whole country, cheering as they went. (And you know how big China is? Massive) In their enthusiasm and rabid passion no one thought to stop. At all. So he was passed on from one crowd group to another as they entered each provence. Bob actually invented crowd surfing. Because he tried to escape that way several times. But became exhausted. And gave up. (the crowds were quite often 6 miles deep). He eventually passed away from starvation around 1961. Legend has it his skeletal remains are still being carried around China to this very day. Boneman Bob he's known as. The longest tour in history Of course Bruce was devistated. And lived with that guilt til the day he died. He left home with his pet cat, Rover, and walked to Hong Kong where he became a star. The really sad thing about this story, is that Lee Evans never knew the truth. That he was given up for adoption at birth. And that his real dad was actually a dead mining superstar being carried around China, and that Bruce Lee was his in fact his brother. He never knew. Heart braking. No winners. Only losers. Even with all that money and fame. I heard that Lee Evans found out the truth in 2014, and it crushed him. He immediately retired from comedy. Sad but all true folks.
