DNC is still the best hard-core combo video music, play that when your about to do some amazing shit and it'll always hit different, it's just so cinematic intense and other worldly, if the combo is crazy enough it makes you look like a god every time I swear by it

Amazing breakdown as usual. I wish this breakdown included Imyourfather along with Arya since to so many, he is definitely the best Lee player in the world. Despite this, the guide is exxxxcellent💖

Was just thinking of watching the previous Lee guide just to refresh my memory on Lee and watch some high quality Tekken content. This came at the perfect time.

I rewatch this guide all the time and i still manage to learn new things everytime great job!

These character breakdowns are always a treat

There's one mist step cancel you guys forgot to mention, the HMS freaker mist step. Lee can do HMS 11f and cancel the 2nd hit and go into mist step, allowing you the bevy of options you mentioned in the video, like the fb4 low for Instance.

I see Chrishinthekaz use that after wall combos to realign with the opponents side roll wake up options. It's incredibly useful in the right hands.

@@doctordoom6461 Plenty of people play with DS4s, it's personal preference. That said, I prefer a stick myself and find his b2 loops easier on stick

I was intimidated by him but always found him so cool. Trust me he is so fun and satisfying. such interesting game play and believe me he is super strong rn. try it dude. after like 200wins most of the hard combos will all be muscle memory.

I always wanted to watch this whole video one day because Lee is such an interesting character, but I was focussed on other characters (Heihachi & Bryan), Finally 2 months back I picked up Lee (after 1 year of thinking of doing so) and indeed this video was a absolute masterpiece. Amazing Guide as always!! Another tip for the punch parry at 54:52 is that you can get a full combo if you do SSR into df1+2, 4. The df1+2 positions Lee off-axis to his right , making the move float the opponent and the 4 follow-up screw the opponent. However, if the opponent mashes after the parry and gets counter hit, the df1+2,4 wont screw since the b1+2,4 already did.

Great guide! I've been thinking of picking up Lee again. Just a small correction though. In S3, Lee's ff+3 startup was actually buffed from 16f to 14f, making the follow-up to ws2,3 easier and making it a more consistent punish against pushback moves.

Very nice video. I would want to add that for combo routes concerning 1,2,4(ch) and HMS 1,2(ch), you can do df1+2,3. Then go for b2f~ 1,2f~ f2,1. Very consistent and if I am not mistaken more dmg than the staples shown here. If you get a hard wallsplat and dont want to resplat you can use b2,4,3 after they fall from the wall and then do the aforementioned combo ender. If you wall splat an enemy with the punchparry you can use df1+2 to take them off the wall and get a combo. Dont ask me how, it just works. All of that being said, I learned a lot watching this video and I love that about not just your videos but about Tekken. And the choice of music was great. I AM THE STORM THAT IS APPROACHING!!!

Fantastic guide, the best ive seen. You guys said alot of stuff ive been saying that seemed like i was the only one lol expecially with HMS being a spacing tool. Some things to note: HMS 2 does not high crush, it high evades. Electrics or any other low hitting high will hit him out of it. 2: f4,3 and f4,1 are not free on natural hit correct, but they are on counterhit even if you delay them, and f4,1 wall splats so imo its a great tool at the wall as a hit confirmable 11f ch wall splat, very strong. Other than that everything was dead on great job as always guys well done. Excellent~

Incredible guide! Amazing editing skills too. Lee has so much style, he is incredibly fun to play. My favourite Lee player is ChrishinTheKaz, He has the most creative Lee I've ever seen. I'mYourFarther is also another great Lee player. His reactions are really funny too.

As a Lee main for a while, this video is very amazing. Some stuff I never even knew about. Certain frame traps I never used but now I will. Thanks.

EXCELLENT! If I may add: - Gut Polisher (d2) tracks Lee's right. On CH I do recommend microdash blazing kick as covered in the video. It's "relatively" consistent. - Deadly Arc (f4,3) into "delayed" HMS tracks both sides the same way b4 delayed HMS. From my test against Lili's SW, tracking Lee's right requires a tighter input window. But against others, b4 and f4,3 are viable semi-homing moves. - HMS "default" canceling for me is db,n,b which gives backdash. This needs a lot of practice to do it instantly. - df,f instantly cancels mist step into mist step. Not easy input though.

My Lee's wishlist (Bamco please read!) - I hope Mist Trap's starting input of 3,3 is changed to something else. Many times in panic I thought I was crouching or forced crouched and pressed for infinite kick, mist trap coming out was suicidal. - d4 into Silver Cyclone, canceling into HMS : quicker canceling to make it viable please. Now it's just a teaser.

Amazing guide as always. But I do have to ask: How many why-does-it-not-wallsplat scenarios were encountered in the making of this video? Those f2,1 and b1:1,2 that give clean wallsplats betray the hands-on experience with many Lee players including myself XD

Another side note for his guaranteed follow ups? FC d/f into hitman for either u/f 4? You can also crouch cancel into a crouch by holding down back and immediately going into Lee (or violet) sliding. Legit does 1 more piece of damage for 37 versus 36 damage, but good when you have your opponent against the wall. You wake up right next to them when you are. Aside from that, well made and passionate as always good sir.

Haha, Excerent Slidu. I've never seen it happen in my run-ins with Lee, but I think it's worth mentioning that Silver Low can just whiff, while well within range, for no apparent reason. Only know that because of IAMOP's channel. I don't really have a desire to play Lee, but I do greatly appreciate guides like this for the anti-Lee knowledge.

@@kshitiz6376 Yep, his best 15f punish just useless against backturn. The amount of rounds that have been thrown because of that one interaction. D3, jab and BK are principal offenders too.

As a person who started playing Tekken 7 and began falling in love with Lee, I love him so much.

HMS uf4 is the most interesting animated move in this game.

Another cheeky thing you can do if you do punch parry then 4 with your back to the wall and wallsplat, you can ssr and do df 1+2, 4. This will cause you to switch sides and screw to get a combo (if you're OK with losing wall pressure).
