I am a physician who at one time took care of nearly 300 autistic kids and adolescents; and yes I tear up EVERY time I see this movie or clips. He may not of won an Oscar, but who needs a fake piece of plastic, his Oscar is in the lives he touches. I tear, because I know what is inside, and when it gets out it is music. Jill Dickerson MD is a master at helping release the beauty in every ASD patient and person!

Oh! When I read that this actor never played piano, then studied six hours a day for six months to learn…that blew my mind.

I was moved to tears.

The young actor playing the pianist should have been nominated for an oscar. What a performance and I am not talking about the piano playing. He made me believe that despite his disability he lived only to play and enjoy music. Truly inspirational.

The panio player is a great actor. He needs an award.

I loved the sheer brilliance of the scripting where the player is seen dancing on the crosswalks....presumably representing the piano keyboard!

I am a huge fan of Korean dramas and this is one of the most moving, memorable and unforgettable dramas. Congratulations to all of the actors - an absolutely stunning drama.

Dealing with my brother and his dementia, this made me cry with hope that somewhere, inside of all of us, is this sort of beauty. What a lovely film clip and the actors were so genuine. Thank you so much!

It is in there. My mother has a special musical gift, accepted by Juilliard. She played piano up and down the keyboard, full chords, of a song after hearing it just once on the radio. She played for years and then largely stopped. Sadly, she has severe dementia now. But when I play piano videos like this, she comes to life and moves her hands as if she were playing the chords on the piano. I bet they'd be right too, if she actually were playing it. Music reaches people with dementia, and stirs them.

I do not know why, but I felt so emotional while listening to the piece being played. Music is inded such a mystery. Beautiful. A masterpiece. Great actors as well. Congratulations..

I'm with you and ​​⁠​​⁠@PatrolOfficer161. This video is _so_ damn good. When I cry while watching it, I'm never sure if it's sadness for mom or happiness for him, or maybe both of them. Damn good.

That was probably the best musical performance (in terms of realism) ever captured on screen. Korea is one incredible country and has one incredible culture. If you haven't seen many Korean movies you really are depriving yourself. So many are truly in a league of their own. Yes, you'll get used to the subtitles. Think of them as an unfortunate, necessary evil.

This scene made my heart sing and was so caught up at the sheer joy this young actor demonstrated - Lee always so generous with his acting abilities - he chooses roles that also holds a light onto the other actors - he stands out by his generosity - wonderful movie, story and presentation. I love the abridged concerto, so much better than the full length one. Actor is superb.

I loved the messages in this film, the compelling acting, and the direction. It's a movie to revisit many times.

Music comes with us from Paradise - when we leave this world it goes back there attached to our souls.

@@leebyunghun-nc8lf Is this the real actor or just a fan account? Either way. Byung-hun and the other actors all put a lot of dedication into this role and it's definitely in my top 50 movies of all time.

Oh God this was so beautiful. What a great story it is. This is why I love drama I love it.

Mike Caine This is the most entertaining thing I've seen in years. I've searched and found the other clips. In all it's a most beautiful picture, with great music, and all round terrific acting. Watching the elder son turn from a "why am I looking after my brother, to a caring older brother who loves his mother and younger brother. That is just one of many parts that provide great entertainment. It has been a great joy and experience. It's up there among the few great movies of all time.

I remember some years ago, Lee Byung Hun was Interviewed by an American Journalist and he was speaking to them in FLAWLESS English. I did Not watch this film but I think this is great.

So amazing! I loved the performance and the piano player is the best in the world. His family is so proud of him and they weep with happiness. So much love in this family ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Iam sad to say Netflix has it but the Thialand actors. Nothing compared to the Korean acting and acting.

Just beautiful - such musicianship...he will go far.

This part makes the movie so great and is the most inspiring and beautiful, it showed that the heart of man is not dead but has Love and feelings that we do not show in public .
