i found out that the left one is the demo and the right one is the original, other than that nice content.

They’re almost exactly the same, they just made small changes on some parts perhaps because the original ones would have the girls move too much for them to be able to sing, just my theory tho Great choreo either way

None of the Choreography changed. The only difference is that the official is less sharper and more smoother due to the fact that it will be performed while singing.

안무 몇개 바뀌면서 강약표현이 더 섬세해진 느낌!!

Original: hip-hop style, fast pace Official: elegant, steady pace The official suits the theme but the original was really good.

Yes there are differences but I think the biggest one is just the execution of the moves. The dancer's execution of course are sharp and powerful because they are dancers and that's their profession. Red Velvet on the other hand are smoother and softer because they are going to sing while dancing. (I'm pretty sure Red Velvet are good enough to do the moves like the original does if they actually wanted to and practiced it that way) EDIT: Please no hate in advanced~ The dancers and Red Velvet are both amazing and IMO none is better because the two groups are following a certain criteria and dancing for completely different reasons. To put it simply, the original dancers are dancing that way because they want to portray a VERY clear image and guide for the girls. It's up to Red Velvet then that after they learn their guide that they do their job of making it fit their concept which is smooth/soft/elegant execution. Think of the original as a blank canvas and Red Velvet as the painters :)

Fadel Engelen Oh yeah definitely~ I'm not gonna lie dancers who are professional sometimes tend to lose their touch with the feeling of music :) When the dance company I was in competed with other people I see that other people can dance really well but something seemed off because they don't have that extra oomph you need from you feeling the music. What I do mean by the last sentence is if Red Velvet wanted to they can execute it the same way the dancers would.

This is Velvet, it has to be rich, dark, and smooth. If this is the Red concept, the vibrance of the original choreography fits much better.

Ezee Flores Right on spot~ Red Velvet has a concept to follow while dancers dance according to technique, sharpness, and also beats. Also, dancers are used to hitting beats with a pop which would be hard to change out of habit (guilty party here) and also just won't quite fit with the concept of "Velvet" and smooth. Nothing wrong with both because at the end of day they do their job XD

Exactly while the dancers only worry about dancing the RV have to sing live too so they need a slower choreography and the difference is minimal

Anastasia Luong I think she’s just talking about being able to properly breathe to sing. Yes the moves are the same but the choreographers aren’t trained to sing while dancing so it’s a different thing.

Redvelvet is a professional dancers. They train for that it just that the original, being sharp is their style but RV's version is softer but with elegance which compliments the song and the aesthetic of the MV

Idol dancers = people who sing while dance; their dances are usually toned down so that they can sing better while doing it. Their careers are not focused on dancing, just a part of it. An idol can be fairly stiff or not flexible as a dancer but can still be a great idol if he has something to make up for it like great singing or rapping skills. Professional dancers: solely dances for a living. Moves are crazy and on another level because they don't have to worry about being stable or singing while dancing. A good dancer only has to be a good dancer. He doesn't have to be a great singer or rapper

Red Velvet is not professional dancers, althought they dance amazing. But you can't say that there aren't kpop idols who are professional dancers. Take Hyoyeon from Girls' Generation as an example. She is a really really great dancer, even joined dance competitions. They call her dance manchine and she can learn coreos in like, no time. Her movements are sharp as the girls in the demo version.

CHANGES: 0:09 Wendy's hand whip transfers to joy in Official Choreo.. 0:12-0:14 Irene is standing from the Official Choreo.. 1:50 Windmill Style (Official Choreo) 2:30 3:06 Irene

I like the rv ver. more suitable to the sing which is a calm mysterious but sweet song.

The official fits the song more ~~ Since it's in the "Velvet" side: elegance , smooth yet powerful 👌

I guess for all the fans out there, the official one is it. But, I think people who actually dance to music produced similarly with psycho would choose the original.

the demo has more of a YG style of dance. Red velvet choreagraphies are more clean and subtle.

the original has more angst(?) to it, while the official feels more dainty, smart choice because it fits the theme really well

A demo choreography has to be emphasized in order for the group performing it to know exactly how the moves are done. They tone it down or emphasize it even more depending on themselves. If the demo version was elegant and subtle then RV may have had a harder time noticing hits and beats. The final result is the official version taking in mind eveything. Song, Live Performance, Mood, etc.
