this is just a dorm where RV members don't spend their own money to live. instead the company pays for it. the money RV members take from the company gets bigger if the company save its cost. in conclusion, the less cost for a dorm, the bigger money RV members get. it's a fair game

It's not like that. Have you watched their variety shows? There are multiple times they said that Seulgi has the smallest room out of them all, meanwhile Joy got the biggest one. They played a game to pick the room, so whoever lost, got the unfortunate. So when I say Seulgi deserves a bigger room, I just want it to be as big as the others'. Maybe she was told not to show any dissatisfaction towards her room or maybe she's not allowed to stay where and how she wants. Seoul is such a big place, she's such a big superstar. She could've been given a place in Hannam the Hill building where celebs like bts and bigbang live. Plus EXO also has been given a dorm then why not Red Velvet. SM is big company and it's a shame that they have not given Seulgi a big room of her own despite being a superstar.

From your comment, it seems that you don't understand an idol's life. Just because they are idols, it doesn't mean they have a luxurious life. In SM tradition, a group at least has to live together for 5 years after debut in a dorm. And the size of their dorm is depend on how much they make money for SM (I know my words in this too harsh, but it's a fact) Red Velvet's seniors did experience this too.

She is so down to earth ...please cherish this precious Seulgi bear.....

after hearing that Seulgi volunteered to take this room just solidified the reason why she is my ultimate bias. Beautiful, kind, talented and bright. We love you, Seulgi-bear 😭💛 🐻

Well, SM pays for their dorms so the less SM pays for the dorm, RV would get a bigger salary. That's just how my brain works so I might be wrong

the room is not small by Korean living standards. especially if it's located in the main city. And for 5 members to have their own room is not common. Take a look at Izone dorms. They split them up with six members per dorm.. and then one room has like 4 members sleeping in bunk beds. they have no privacy at all. Also you can see a video of where red velvet stayed before they moved to this dorm. It was actually pretty big. So this one has more space.

Yes Seulgi offered herself to take the smallest room, she has the hallway outside this room for her closet tho which you can see at the beginning of Joy’s vlog. If you watch Joy’s Happy Together episode, you will know that all 5 RV members asked for two separate dorms so they could all have nicer and evenly spaced rooms, but SM refused.

근데 이건 회사책임이 제일 큰 거 아님? 슬기님이 착한 것도 인정하지만, 나같은 경우 사람이 살 수 있는 정도면 걍 지내는 타입이라서 나같아도 걍 다용도실 꾸며서 내방으로 쓰고 있을 것 같음. 무엇보다 언니니까 큰방을 줘야하지만 그러기엔 억울함+본인도 큰방쓰고 싶은 다른사람들의 눈치싸움을 보기 힘든 성격이여서 걍 내가 희생할 수 있다면 희생하는게 속편함.... 이러쿵저러쿵 말나오지않게 숙소를 두 개 잡아주지 그랬냐 스엠아!!!!!! 으아아악
