I'm amazed those LEDs are working. When I saw the adverts on other sites, I thought it was a terrible gimmick. But clearly, the LEDs work!

They work... my seedlings outgrew the greenhouse in no time... I think moving forward I'll use them for prop stations... and the occasional seed starting

Definitely works. I just started my herbs last Sunday and already Basil and Oregano is growing
Neat little setup! Thanks for the update!🌱🌱🌱🌱
Great to see the follow up. You inspired me to buy some from Amazon after watching your first video. I am using mine purely for propagating, manly Hoya. I am absolutely loving them, they are such good value for money! 😁🌱

Oh nice!!! They would be Perfect for Hoya!!!
Thanks for the video. I have purchased this exact same one, but havent used it yet, so i appreciate seeing this.
I got mine last month. Amazon had an amazing offer of six starters like yours and also with a timer for 8, 12 and 18 hours just for $25. I'm using for gesneriads seeds and they're growing really well. Even Sinningias and Kohlerias are doing well. I was afraid about them because they usually need more light than others but so far they look great

I just bought this set and don't understand how the automatic timer works. Does it circulate through the colours or do you have to change the colours manually. Thanks

@@graebeard6882colors??? I’m pretty certain it’s just fixed to one hue, no change cycling to warm or cool if that’s what you’re referring to.

I got mine for 4$ from a temu sale. Imma drop the “life hack” here just incase anyone wants to do the same 😂. Basically temu offers you this one promotion (there’s no way of directly/manually accessing it, the “algorithm”just randomly gives it to you when you open the app or shortly after opening it) the promotion is called “pick one for 99% off” or something like that. If I recall correctly you get a screen popup telling you to choose something for 99% off from your cart. They then give you *ten minutes* to choose any item (not just from what’s in your cart) and cash out (pro tip: there’s a way to *bypass* this, you can choose a random item then go back and re-choose a different one in order to eliminate the timer completely. this is an important step if you want more time to scroll longer and choose something you really want without feeling pressured .. and yes they actually do close the promotion if you don’t do this step.) Now here’s the real catch, once you choose your main item they make you choose 7 *other* items in order to place the order. What I do is I scroll and find the cheapest items available (34-78cents) after you’ve done that you are able to place the order. I’ve done this multiple times on the same account so if you exit out for whatever reason just remember they’re prolly more desperate for your money than you are for a product, you’ll eventually get the promotion again so don’t worry too much 😂
I bought the same kit this is my first time using it I'm having good luck with peppers and cucumbers but I also planted some apple seed and lemon seeds and those aren't doing anything and they're moldings just the fruit tree seeds
Glad that worked out well! Do you just grow your passion flower as an annual or do you bring them in for the winter?

It depends on the year... sometimes I bring them in... and sometimes I don't. They can get a little gangly and unruly in the house when the lighting isn't optimal

@holdengurl1013 it works well. Just make sure you keep the soil wet. I would soak your seeds in water for at least 12 hours. They will sprout faster.
Is the passionflower a passiflora edulis?
@PlantzNThings

i think it's passiflora caerulea
Very interesting setup. It's amazing at the difference in germination rates. Thanks for the follow-up. 🪴
